Is a KS Build viable

Advice

In no specific order I am planning on taking the following feats for my archaist.

Breadth of Experience (+2 all KS)
Deific Obedience (God abilities)
Dilatant (+2 KS for skills under 5)
Amateur Investigator (+1d6 skills)
Skill Focus (+3 one skill)
Magical Aptitude (+2 Spell & UMD)
Scholar (+2 to 2 KS)

Is it playable?

Helpful Halfling™ Research Assistant for +4 never hurts either.

I don't understand the refrence

Halfling Race Trait, Helpful.
Gives +4 bonus when Assisting you with your skill roll.
Hirelings are not just for cannon fodder.

"Knowledge Skill."

Someone who knows everything about anything. [Occ]Definitely not Kill Stealing![/ooc]

I know KS, I'm the OP after all :)...I meant the Halfling reference. Thanks Daw.

Sczarni

A character bent on stealing kills from teammates could be hilarious though...

its dorable for an arcanist , you get so much out of your class that you don't NEED to put feats into it to be useful.

Lol I did not catch that XD

Anyways, heres some more.
Archivist Bard. trades out singing based inspire courage for knowledge based inspire courage. And take 20 on K checks :p
Mindchemist Alchemist. Cognatogen boosts Int and you gain double Int to knowledge checks.
Helpful Trait Aid Another at +4 modifier. If you know all the skills you can always help someone else shine, no matter what you are doing. Works well with the Bodyguard feat.
Also, Cunning weapon enchant gives you +4 crit confirm with knowledge skills.
Improvisation human racial feat grants you +2 to all untrained skills. The Imp version grants you an additional +2.
Cosmopolitan grants you 2 K skills as class skills.

Is it doable? Well I built an archivist/mindchemist gestalt for one game and it was great. I was always busy with something or other, and it was a great class for my imagination and innovation to go wild, at least it was until someone stole my dynamite... >_> grumble grumble...

Thank you for the suggestions:

Most will not be that useful, either due to race or class as I don't really want to go another class right now (I might take a level of Wizard, but that is another story)

Cunning is interesting however

My loremaster/ wizard does real well as designated smartypants, and part time item enchanter.

I actually rather like Cloistered Cleric Loremasters.

Silver Crusade

The untrained feats like Diletante Improvisation and the Archivist class feature are useless, don't worry about it. Don't bother with the 2 skill +2 ones either.

Instead, take the Knowledge skill unlock feats. This is the golden egg:

"10 Ranks: When you successfully identify a creature, you gain a +1 competence bonus on attack rolls, opposed ability checks, skill checks, and caster level checks against creatures of that kind (e.g., glabrezu demons, but not other demons or evil outsiders) for 1 minute. This bonus increases by 1 for every 5 ranks beyond 10 you possess in that Knowledge skill."

for pfs only rogues can get the skill unlocks

Unfortunately I can't take it (Table thing). With a goal of "The KS" guy what would you suggest instead?

If you want to be all about knowledge skills, investigator is the go to class, perhaps the empyricist archetype.

I have a Half-Elf Empiricist Investigator that gets all knowledge skills, has a high Int (so a +8 return just for investing a point into the skill) gets a 1D6 free add on to any trained knowledge skill (effectively another +3.5 to every check by level 2 when you can get a single rank into every knowledge) the Half Elf favored class bonus gives me a +1 to that D6 for 4 levels. The level 1 extract Tears to Wine gives me a scaling bonus to all INT based checks (starts off as a +2, goes to +5 and then +10) The level 3 extract of Heroism gives another +2 to skills and you can get a talent to boost that D6 to a D8.

The total investment is skill points you would already have spent in knowledges, one talent, one or two extracts, and your FCB. By level 2 you have a modifier of about ~+14 to all knowledges and it will scale very well as you level. It is also an extermely small investment of your characer's abilities so you can still rock stuff other than skill checks.

Sounds really cool. My character is already in play. He is an arcansit Elf. Int 18.

So for 1 skill point I get the same +8, I also have Breadth of experience so +2 on top of that for 1 skill point gives me +10

Spell: Page Bound Epiphany. Boosts your skill check by caster level up to 10 if you have time to concentrate on it.

that is a really COOL spell for the concept
