Is there a service that will paint miniatures for you?

Miniatures

I don't normally use minis in my games (mostly stick to pawns and other markers). However, I recently got the game Mice & Mystics as a gift, it includes a set of plastic miniatures that are unpainted.

I'd like them painted but don't want to buy all the supplies just to paint one batch of minis (and, then, likely, never paint again), I also have light nerve tremors in my hands, so painting would probably be more difficult for me than it would be for most.

So I'm interested in seeing if there is a company or service that I can send/take them to, have them painted, and then shipped back to me.

I'm sure there's plenty of artists out there who'd be willing to take on the commission even through the mail but I don't know of an organized service for that. You might try asking at your local game store if that's an option, frequently mini-painters will advertise there.

There are a lot more out there - those are just the top couple that came up on google when searching for miniature painting service.

I would re-suggest using your local gaming shop if possible as well. Put up a flyer and you'd probably be able to find someone happy to do it on a payment or a product-in-lieu-of-payment basis.

How much do you want to spend, and how good does it have to look? Those might be important questions.

cheapest method is to go to your FLGS and ask... you will usually find a warhammer person who pays for their paint via commissions for anywhere between $10 and $25 a figure, depending on how good they are, their average turn around time, and how complex a color scheme you request for the job.
