What is the best hellknight you can be? I want to make a new PFS character that will take levels in one or even several of the three hellknight prc's. I just can't decide where to start.

Oath Against Chaos Paladin of Abadar or Tyrant Anti-paladin of Asmodeus.

More seriously, a Cleric -> Hellknight Signifier is probably the best you can do. Cast OP spells, hit things with a mace, heilworship a Lawful god.

As Dominus said. For PFS an LN Cleric of Abadar gets good domains (Travel and Protection for example) and then take Hellknight Signifier.

You'll playing a Nazi IRS cop, but you'll be damned good at it.

He'd definitely need the Travel domain.

An Oracle might have better CHA synergy than a cleric.

Ok. How about a human cleric of Asmodeus with the fire and trickery domains, selective channel, and warrior priest?

The upcoming Adventurer's Guide is slated to have content for would-be Hellknight PCs, if you're willing to wait that long. ^_^

When does that come out?

May 2017. So about 6 months. ^_^

I remember I played a phalanx soldier hellknight once. It was super fun. Mainly I took two levels of ranger to get the two weapon fighting bonus feat without the 15 dex prerequisite. Then I took three levels of fighter in the phalanx soldier archetype. This allowed me to dual wield a pole arm and a shield. I then took the feat improved shield bash and combat reflexes and shield slam. Then I'd bull rush a guy with my shield after hitting him, which would provoke an attack with my spear. Then I'd finish him off with the rest of my spear attacks. It's a pretty fun build for taking on hordes of enemies I'd say.

Metal Oracle (Legalistic Curse) 6 / Hellknight Signifier (Order of the Nail)
Dance of the Blades and Armor Mastery revelations
Go for a two-hand melee build with your Halberd, Combat Reflexes, Power Attack and Cornugon Smash for all the fun.

Metal oracle does sound like the best melee/caster option? Why order of the nail?

Power Attack->Damnation Feats->Intimidate Feats Fighter.

Fully decked out, a fighter can use soulless gaze to intimidate as a swift action, move action, and standard, and also bring them below shaken into the frightened status. High damage by merit of 2-handed power attacking/Hurtful. Immunity to multiple elements based on your devil patron. Outsider status to make them immune to humanoid targeting spells. This man can chop you up, resist a lot of what you throw at him, and turn even the most hardened warrior into a cowering mess just by staring him down for a round. As a fighter, he'll also be surprisingly quick in his hellknight armor. Trading his soul to emulate the powers of the infernal, this agent of hell IS the law.

Thats how I run my BBEG warrior anyways.

While I would check Additional Resources just to be 100% certain... I suspect that the damnation feats are not PFS-legal. ^_^

Ah damn. Yeah, even if they were, the fourth feat would bring you to Lawful Evil even if you started at chaotic good. So you'd be unable to get the most powerful effect, rendering the build moot. Missed that in my initial reading.

I like Halberds :P

Another idea that just came to me: Cleric of Tsukiyo (Madness / Repose (Ancestor)) 1 / Oracle (Occult) 6 / Hellknight Signifier 10

You can make one hell of a bad touch guy with Touch of Madness, Gentle Rest and Phantom Touch.
