True Dragons based off of the 5 species of big cat. Not like a Dragone, but real true dragons.
After all, there are 5 different species in the Genus Panthera.
Panthera Dragons would be awesome!
Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Jaguar, and Snow Leopard.
On the topic of Dragones though...
We have pseudodragons, we have pesudosphinxes.
Why not an Improved Familiar size Dragone type critter? Looks like 50% Pesudodragon 50% housecat. 100% adorable.

Monsters of the Ottoman Turks. Several are new to me.
The Karakoncolos as a CN fey that likes emerging during the winter solstice festivities and acting like a pack of drunken frat-boys? I'm game for that.

The Gold Sovereign |

I already suggested a lot of themes for the next set of true dragons: Apocalypse Dragons, Crafted Dragons, Nature Dragons, Gemstone Dragons, Calamity Dragons and even futuristic dragons (like cyber dragons and nuclear dragons).
I would love to see new element based dragons that have kinetic abilities (like the anemos or the glaisting), even if for that they had no spellcasting abilities.

Wicked - I love them all.

It occurs to me that the Hinkir Munkur is weirdly similar to D&D's Devourer. Not a D&D monster I ever expected to find something like in mythology. Not that it isn't distinct enough to use in the game, where it would probably be an aberration or monstrous humanoid rather than an undead. A marsupial humanoid from any continent other than Australia is a weird concept.

Dragon78 |

Some more monsters with multiple heads.
I don't recall any fey with two or more heads. Could also use some more tauric fey and non-humanoid fey.
A true giant with 2-3 heads and maybe another type with four arms.
We don't have any trolls with more then two arms.
The more types of humanoids there are the more types of oni we could have though we are still behind on the standard ones like goblin, cyclopes, troll, etc.

Most Hindu Demons have multiple heads.
So more Asuras and Rakshasas! Yay! :)

More outer planar enemies/allies. I know that we have the big angel, devil, demon, etc, but sometimes things out there shouldn't be wrapped up in the big names and should exist. Like some say CG critters that live on the CG planes but aren't whatever the CG outsiders are (at work, can't check right now).

Lawful and chaotic versions of planetouched races (I.e. what good aligned planes are to aasimar).
Golems: Including Paper (Yes paper I want my oragami themed wizard to have a cool golem), Gravedirt, and Dragonskin
New agathions: Really the only one I want is Pachydermals (elephant/rhino/mastadon type Agathion) but I dont think Frog or Bear agathions have been done yet. All three animal types have themes surrounding exceptional intelligence and/or insight
Mamlambo: We still dont have that brain eating river monster Ive been asking for since bestiary 2
More positive energy creatures: The Jyoti were a great inclusion to the positive energy plane but I feel like it could have several races that inhabit one of the most dangerous and interesting planes in creation.

Dragon78 |

We are getting law and chaos planetouched races in Planar Adventures.
Mamlambo, a brain eating river monster, sounds interesting.
I would love for a lot more creatures(especially non-outsiders) from the positive energy plane.
A paper/origami golem would be nice.
I would love to see a fey creature that likes to make crop circles...to mess with UFO conspiracy nuts.

Well, do have the Ganzi. I'd like a Neutral (Psychopomp and Aeon) based 0HD race

15.Other Lengian and Tindalosan fauna

20.Maelstrom stuff (Star Child, Lucy in the Sky, Weirdmageddon type stuff)
21.Schrodinger's Cat (Fey/Undead) or Cheshire Cat (Aberration)
22.The Eldest, Elemental Lords, Protean Lords, and Kyton Demagogues

29. all the monsters that have not been published in a hardcover bestiary, but have been in any other pathfinder product, regardless of cover type or product line. (preferably everything else before you go reprinting a bunch of Outsiders, though, you guys still have more than two hundred representative creatures more than just about every other type, with the occasional exception of Animals)
30. Everything Paizo/Todd Stewart/James Jacobs wants or has ever wanted to make for Pathfinder

Either an outsider or an outsider willingly bound into a stuffed animal/comfort object whose purpose in life is to protect the child that keeps them around from things like night hags, boogiemen, and other such things. Could also be a construct.
Or maybe a template added to a creature that automatically makes it tiny sized and takes on a plush form of itself. Not quite sure, but a teddy-bear type child-hood guardian is something that might be a fun thing.
Not something to fight, but a fun thing for GMs to add to flesh out a world.

Dragon78 |

A spirit that products children and takes the form of teddie bears and toys would be even more interesting.
The only Naga you mentioned that sounds interesting is the aether one. Would love a lot more creatures with the aether subtype.
Linnorms-like the sound of lagoon, loch, fen, and firth.
Maelstrom stuff = Star child?

I've been researching the pantheon(s) of Polynesia, and there are several figures, which while deity-level in mythology, might make decent monsters in Pathfinder.
Makemake is the primary deity of Rapa Nui, aka Easter Island, and resembles a humanoid frigate bird with red eyes that can role any direction in his head. He's an eccentric figure, and I thought he could serve as an interesting basis for a powerful fey or outsider that creates strange cults for itself on isolated islands.
Kamapua'a is a Hawaiian demigod who resembles a humanoid wild boar. He's generally a jovial fellow unless his appearance is mocked, in which case he becomes dangerous. He also had a tumultuous on again/off again relationship with Pele. I figured he might make an interesting inspiration for some kind of powerful wild pig fey.
Saveasi’uleo is the lord of the Samoan underworld, and resembles a giant eel or eel-man made of rock. He's a powerful and dangerous being whom I honestly don't know too much about, but I thought he might make an interesting dragon, magical beast, or elemental that dwells in caverns below the ocean floor.
Whaitiri is a huge and powerful hag-goddess of thunder. She frequently tests heroes and demigods with dangerous tasks in order to help aid them in their quests but has a habit of cannibalizing those who fail. Think of her as the Baba Yaga of Polynesia.
Te Tuna is another eel-like deity, and a two hundred foot-long monstrosity that was able to oppose the entire pantheon at once. He is a shapeshifter and often takes human form in order to seduce beautiful women and goddesses. He has a disturbing habit of becoming obsessed with specific, powerful, women who he pursues ceaselessly, destroying anyone and anything that gets between him and the object of his desires.
Miru is a particularly nasty goddess of the underworld, a grinning, taloned, fiend who enjoys cooking the souls of the dead in her domain. She feeds her victims centipedes and beetles until they become obese and she finally devours them, and wields two sticky nets as her primary means of catching her prey.
There are lots more figures in Polynesia that might be good monster inspiration for the high CR range as well, so I might post more later.

more different animal breeds.
They've started doing it with horses.
I'd like to see some canines with slightly different stats. Esp in the familiar section.
Heck, just give us a book full of different stat-blocks for domestic breeds of creatures.
Because your Clydesdale is going to have different stats from your Arabian is going to have different stats than a Shetland pony.
Same with a bloodhound vs a Saluki.

So, folks, you can pretty much lay down your arms here, Planar Adventures is the last Pathfinder 1ed hardcover.
Of course, a "PF 2.0 Bestiary 1 wishlist" is fair game!
Are they really going to convert EVERYTHING all over again? I've read that they will offer conversion rules.
I mean, that would be pretty stupid to convert every single hardcover book all over again with updated rules BEFORE adding new content.
At this point, give me an "errata" for the Bestiaries and I'll start from there.

I lived through D&D 2E, 3E and 3.5E. In fact, is it like "going from 3E to 3.5E" or "going to 4E"?
Furthermore, it took them 10 years to have 6 Bestiaries... Converting them might take them another 10 years and we would STILL not getting new creatures. Like I said, like D&D did for 3.5E, they offered an errata-like document for earlier books.
On a sidenote, Starfinder has a bunch of convertion rules so you can recycle Pathfinder material; they didn't ditch them all together.

By all indication, the ruleset change is more like 3.5->4 or 4->5 level of change. I wouldn't expect a quick and dirty conversion document, and it seems like monsters will be built from a different set of Lego bricks than PCs this time.
There will be new bestiaries, which will cover basics first, and then move on combining converted monsters with new ones, pretty much like every edition did.

I'm saying this, because it's pretty stupid to "punish" Pathfinder players who spent money on books.
"We're launching a new edition, so... thanks for buying our books, but we're not going to use them anymore."
Like I said, give me an errata for every race, class, archetype, skill, feat, rule, spell, item and monster ever published so I can keep using my previous books with the new rules, and THEN give me new materials.

Before we break out the pitchforks, we don't actually know how Paizo plans on implementing rulebooks after the new core book. I'd like to think Paizo is smart enough to know that a big gripe with new editions is simply taking the older editions and slapping a new bit of paint and releasing them. We'll get the older material updated, but it might not be something as straightforward as "Ultimate Combat 2nd edition".
I for one really hope they go with a big omnibus bestiary, that consolidates 3 or more books worth of bestiaries. I know James Jacobs, long before this edition was announced, has said he would like to do something like that with with Pathfinder monsters.
