Another question I have is the method of healing for the Vampiric Weapon.
This special ability can be placed only on piercing or slashing melee weapons. The first time each round that the wielder hits a living target with a vampiric weapon, the weapon restores an amount of hit points to the wielder equal to 1/2 the damage dealt to the target, to a maximum equal to the wielder’s number of Hit Dice. If the damage was more than enough to kill the target, any excess damage doesn’t count toward the amount healed. A creature can regain no more than 2 hit points per Hit Die from a vampiric weapon each day. A new owner gains no healing from a vampiric weapon until she owns it for 24 consecutive hours, and a wielder can be attuned to only one vampiric or greater vampiric weapon at a time. Finally, a wielder healed by a vampiric weapon can’t exceed her maximum hit point total, though excess healing also doesn’t count toward the daily limit of hit points she can regain.
Both living and undead creatures can benefit from the healing. A vampiric weapon automatically converts the stolen energy into positive or negative energy, as appropriate for the wielder.
Summary: Gain (2 x HD) of Vampiric pool. When damaging a living creature, 1/2 damage (up to HD) is pulled from pool to heal you. Any healing beyond max health is not used from pool.
Let us say that there is a Level 10 character with 26 Constitution (+8 Modifier) and the Fast Healer feat. The character is at 90/100 Hit points and strikes a creature for 20 points of damage.
The total healing when Fast Healing and Vampiric triggers are:
10 (Vampiric) + 4 (Fast Healer) = 14 points of healing
The method of healing would trigger would result in one of 2 ways:
- Vampiric is used first, resulting in 10 points of available healing left in the Vampiric pool.
- Fast Healing would be used first, resulting in it taking priority of the healing, and having 16 points of available healing left in the Vampiric pool.
I was wondering which one would it be the correct method.

Bladelock, not sure what you're asking. I don't think you're healed 1 hp at a time, so the way I see it, Vampiric heals 10 hp, that triggers Fast Healer, and heals additional points (that doesn't count towards the max Vampiric can heal).
And to the earlier discussion, I would think Vampiric heals first, as Fast Healer says "When you're healed by...." meaning, the healing has happened, then this next part occurs.

Hmm, I would say so, since the ability just says "damage dealt" and doesn't specify any particular damage, not like it's all that dangerous with the cap on healing.
Agreed, the cap is the limiting part, and I agree with your general assessment. It just seems that usually Pathfinder would not trigger this sort of thing on linked damage, like a spellstrike shocking grasp.
