I agree, I can see a medic specialisation for the Mechanic class.
Don't worry, I hacked way all of your bullet wounds

In Iron Gods, Pharmaceuticals were considered an item, so Mechanic could be feasible.

To me, it would make more sense for a Medic to be someone with lots of ranks in Heal, and that doesn't seem like something a Mechanic would take. I don't think that it would be unreasonable for there to be whole separate class for a Medic.

Also, I wanted to send a big thank you to ArchMage for putting all this work into the update list. I've been scouring the internet for a while for info on Starfinder and this thread is by far the most comprehensive.

*Cheers*

I use Google Drive/Docs/etc all the time. It's generally straightforward, but hit me up if you want any help!

Yup. The big, blue share button is a good place to start!

When I compete the google doc (I'm trying to reformat it to be more easily readable and accessible as well as clarify certain phrases that may have been to vague) should I make a new thread so that the updated docs link will always remain at the top? Also if I update the document after posting it's link, will the link work properly and show the newest updated version?

i think you can request a merge of threads, cant you? Or in general ask an admin to edit your original post?

Also, in your information are you including confirmation of triple mounted torch-axes and Lightsaber-Tonfas? I feel like these are selling points for the game...

Yep!

I've seen an axe like the one you're describing, but not anything like a lightsaber tonfa. I'm including general references to technological melee weapons but I don't have anything that specific. Also how would I go about asking an admin to do that?

The lightsaber Tonfa is on the cover to book three of Dead Suns. It is being wielded by a Vesk in a formal looking uniform along with a pistol of some kind that looks to be cropped off partway through. I meant it more tongue in cheek but it is neat to see none the less. here is the picture in question, http://static2.paizo.com/image/product/catalog/PZO/PZO7203.jpg

Also pointing out the classic shotgun shells at the Vesk's hip but since its far future and all maybe they arent supposed to be shotgun shells.

As to asking to edit your original post or merge threads... no idea, possibly email community@paizo.com? i have seen that email posted in threads a few times in regards to missing or deleted posts and otherwise have seen duplicate threads get merged before but that is it.

Is it really worth it to do that instead of simply making a new thread?

I think if you link this thread to the new one that should be clear to everyone. :)
