I thought recruitment was open till the 30th?
I was polishing things up before submitting.
It is, but it appears the GM is doing a rolling admission as he sees submissions he likes.

I see.

Alfred Ensbridge |

I will be submitting Alfred Ensbridge, soon to be an Archaeologist Bard/Corsair Fighter.
Alfred is thoroughly amazed by the cyclops and other giant kin, and has come to the Shackles to explore the ruins of the Cyclops Empire of Ghol-Gan.
He has been in the area long enough to pick up a familiarity with the weapons and armor favoured by ship faring folk and has learned to hold his own during his attempts to learn of the unknown.
I will have a fuller back story written in my Alias once I get him made, he is currently a 2nd level core bard from a failed campaign, and I quite enjoyed playing his personality.
EDIT - His race will Halfling, wields a cutlass and buckler or a bow

Alfred Ensbridge |

Pretty much done now, just need to do all the math for the skills and add a dagger or two.
Grogimus, I was under the mistaken impression that the cutlass was finesseable. I like the flavour of a halfling wearing a buckler wielding a cutlass, so are you okay with me using the short sword, which is finessable, and simply calling it a cutlass for the flavor?

Alfred Ensbridge |

Found some time to expand on Alfred's background a bit and some expected character growth,
A less than obvious point about Alfred's history is that his Father went off on a trip to explore Ghol-Gan when Alfred was still young, an attempt to live some of the stories he told. When he did not come back Alfred became more obsessed with giant kin than he had previously been and made it his life goal to explore Ghol-Gan and find his Father.
Currently Alfred is Chaotic Good, and wants to help others as best he can and supports the freedom of all. He does have a callous streak however, due to the long search for his father, and tends towards CN neutral occasionally through necessity. I am looking forward to playing through this as I want to see what the breaking point would be for Alfred to either become to cynical to be good any more or if he will calcify into a person who adheres to a code to get through the day and move towards LN. Either path would be inherently interesting in my eyes and the only way to find out would be to play and make the decisions.
@Grogimus as for my choice of story feat (Unforgotten) and Profession(Writer) due to the character background, what is your opinion. I can rework the back story but I would still like to try at the story of a Kind hearted free spirit trying to figure out how to act in a situation where kindness may be seen as a weakness.
EDIT - I should also say that I plan on playing him as a skills guy primarily, and then as a back up tank/damage. Due to his decent AC and spells like Compel Hostility the tanking should take off fairly quickly, and then secondary damage dealing would improve as he grows

That's a good tactic. What have you got brewing in your brain? This didn't seem the right campaign for me to submit Jolly Roger the bird-brained tengu bard. One day though...
I am glad you asked.
I have been leaning Card Caster Magus and Unchained Rouge. I spent a long time trying to figure swashbuckler, slayer or some full BAB class then some more time tossing the idea of a Prankster Bard. A very short time thinking warpriest but that involved either low primary stats or multiple dump stats or less skills.
All that to say here is Bazzle Blasthazzard.
Skills
Card Shenanigans
Gnomish Good Looks
Spells
Background in the alias.

Albion, The Eye |

Well, we got Laknir, an Occultist/Swashbuckler and cavalier. And a Wizard/undecided.
So, we still need folks for: Stealth/traps, sneaky stuff. Party face optional. Divine casting. Probably something else Im forgetting.
Stealth/traps, sneaky stuff. Party face optional were submitted - just not picked ;)

Explain card shenanigans
Nothing diabolical. The card caster archetype changes spell strike so it effects thrown weapons. So that shocking grasp and other spells are delivered via card or other thrown wrapon.
Game mechanics wise any magus rogue combo has the potential for a shocking grasp sneak attack combo. Card caster limits this though as the spell strike can only be at range.
Beyond that it was more flavor related in thinking. He would like card games and card tricks.
