Soooo, I'm playing a Kineticist(aether) in the Jade Regent campaign and got the expected result after being goaded in to rolling wealth by my fiance'.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to by with the whopping 6 gold that isn't being taken up by my turtle and wooden holy symbol (long story).
Currently the only thing I'm thinking about is Rounder's gear, since it'll give me some projectiles for my blast, two bats for Kinetic blade, and a couple of bags.

You could also sell this for 5 GP, and go loin cloth until you get some gold.
In addition, each character begins play with an outfit worth 10 gp or less.
Joking...but if you're really that cash-strapped maybe its worth considering.
As pointed out club and sling, 0 cost for wpn. This is really just a problem until after your first encounter or 2, then you should be fine.

Rocks are plentiful.
He's 15? Get a board of wood and go all Marty McFly!

Fair. I also kinda like the idea of getting all the games (rounders, horseshoes, croquet) and just assaulting the baddies with kids toys.

Check out Good & Cheap: Core Equipment Everyone Should Have and Good & Cheap II: Going Beyond the Core Rule Book. These list a well thought out list of cheap and light stuff.

One of our local PFS players went looking for ammunition for his kineticist and came to the conclusion that copper pieces were the cheapest he could find.
Now when he encounters a problem, he just throws money at it.
Deck of playing cards man!
But, I admit, I love the idea of "literally throwing money at a problem"
