This is for a PFS character, so a RAW answer would be appreciated, but failing that I'll settle for convincing arguments...
Is it possible for the Stinging Whip channel focus to be masterwork and enchanted?
It's described as a whip made of metal braids, so would presumably follow normal whip rules, which ought to allow for masterwork and enchanting.

The whip does specify that the bonus to disarm or trip applies to that whip. My assumption would be that it functions like a normal whip that has the channel focus feature.
For what it's worth, other weapons can also be made into channel foci, though with a different effect.

Strictly speaking it is not a weapon, it is a channel focus. Channel Foci are described as a holy symbol that you wear, not something that you use. It might be too heavy to use effectively as a weapon (5lb vs 2lb) or purely ornamental.
The description states "this whip." As such, it is a weapon for PFS and is a whip. I have an email from a VO telling me that this is correct.

I've just started looking into the stinging whip. Does it use the same stats (damage, crit, damage type) as a normal whip? Can't find that anywhere. I have stumbled across random sites which list it as the same as a normal whip, but with increased damage. One site had 1d6, another 1d8. Any idea which is accurate? These sites were peoples uploaded character sheets.

It specifies that it is a whip and a focus. so it should work fine i imaigne.
it specifies its a whip so it should use all the effects.. but is metal not leather.
pretty sure whip damage is 1d3 20/x2
Since the description on the tiem doesn't specifiy any damage increasese etc. it shoudnj't cange nything..
the other sites were probably looking at scorpan whips and maybe larger sized or something.

Since it's constructed from metal instead of leather, I'm presuming an increase of damage
