Or
he´s working on the Pathfinder PCRPG with Obsidian.
To make that single player Pathfinder RPG with an AP-like story finaly.
After D&D disapointed there heavily with Legends of the Sword Coast, and after the surprising Humble Bundle deal, such a PC game, where Pathfinder mechanics aren´t changed like in PFO, but ported 1:1 or nearly there, might very well be the road to unequaled glory.
Incredibly glitchy.

We generally don't announce big things on podcasts like Know Direction—those are better used to explore and chat about things we've already talked about.
As evidenced by the past, our preferred venue for making big announcements is to do so at big conventions. Like say, PaizoCon or Gen Con, of course... but sometimes other major industry conventions that happen at other times of the year...

I'm excited!

VERY SOON or Very Soon™?

Ahh, well, when will you be announcing the date of the announcement? If you can't tell us that, can you tell us the date when you will be able to? If not, we'll be satisfied if you could just let us know when that's going to change. <Grin>

GDC isn't really a "convention" in the way I'm talking about it. And while Jessica is certainly representing Paizo there, she is not attending GDC on Paizo's dime.

Personally I enjoy these 'let's guess' threads much more than the actual reveal - both because they allow us to be a bit silly - and because they let our devs see just how excited we really are to even think about 'something new from their imagination' - take it for what it's worth, if your past work gets people excited at just the *possibilities* - yeah that's kind of awesome!

Precisely!

Given that today is just 3 days shy of the 8th anniversary of the Pathfinder RPG being announced, it's obvious that this announcement will be a new game system.
Don't ask me how I made that leap.

Out of sheer contrariness, I will now be completely over-the-top in my enthusiasm for whatever the sekrit projects are, no matter how mundane.

Today, Paizo announces Pathfinder, The Toaster(tm), the newest way to bring the excitement of Pathfinder and the giddy flames of goblin kind to a breakfast near you. With exciting toast burn configurations such as "Ezren's Chin", "Griddle of Opposite Germination", and "Runetoast", breakfast will never be boring again!

So is this a confirmation that in the upcoming years, all the of the 3.5 AP might get a Pathfinder hardcover version?
There are only four 3.5 APs. So, I´d guess that the remaining two might be converted at some point as well, with one already done and the second one on its way.
Furthermore, a Pathfinder 2.0 seems quite unlikely now, with updating this AP to the PF rules (If this is indeed the case - not clear from the pic). Updating old stuff and then making it somewhat obsolete shortly thereafter would be a stupid move.
