Belina posted in recruitment on Sunday to say "Sounds good" to Dec 6 start date. Nothing from Hung that I've seen. With a name like that, he might have just been trolling.

Worst case scenario we have a small table with the 4p adjustment and probably speeds things up. Of course, I'd rather they respond, but it won't kill the table at least.

Another possibility, should they not turn up, and hopefully they will, is that a member of team B could cross over. We're all still in base camp and there have been no events yet.

Indeed. That would be most appreciated. But for me, a table of 4 is also an opportunity to go quicker, as Hadid already said. :)

Life often throws the unexpected at us, and so it's not with an attitude of entitlement that I bring this up. GMing is work-- essentially entertainment provided for free-- not somthing to be demanded. Thumbs up for wanting to do this.

But is this the roughly the GM posting rate we can expect for the campaign, or is this just a temporary rough spot you need to get through?

Because I've been in a few PbP games that died out, and it feels a lot like this. I'd rather hear now, "Sorry, guys I need to cancel." --than limp along for a few more weeks and then have it die.

I am in total agreement with Zob, so far this game has been dragging on. And for a 3 game commitment I was hoping these games would speed along. If it's going to continue at this rate, I would have to consider dropping this game, and that's something I really hate to do.

I'll chime in since I'm currently in another PbP with this GM.

He's been great there as far as posting frequency. Now, there are definitely some differences there. First off, it's a Game Day table, so there is a deadline. Second, it's a multi table special with several Acts, so even each individual piece has its own deadline. That likely increased his post frequency.

However, I don't think those are the only reasons he posts more over there. If I had to guess I'd say it's that it's the holidays and he's slowing down for that. It's probably just a matter of having started right before Christmas instead of something like right after New Year's. I'm sure it'll pick up after the holidays, but yes, an update would be much appreciated.

IMO, if a GM can't commit equal time and effort into all his games, then he probably is trying to do too much. And I personally find it even more disheartening that a GM gives all his attention to one game, while ignoring others. I'm not trying to talk crap about the GM, just expressing my frustrations.

Well I can understand giving more attention to a game that has a set deadline, and the game ends on that date whether you chime in or not.

Yes, attention should be given to all, but like I said I'm guessing it's just a holiday break and he's finishing what absolutely must be done.

Even if the GM is busy with the holidays, going six days without a post isn't encouraging. Doesn't take more than two minutes to log in and post a quick sentence in this Discussion thread.

Thank you all for your post.

Work has kept me very busy over the first half of this week. Add the usual pre-christmas stuff at the school of my boys.

Those were the reasons why I had limited energy to update my GM stuff. Given that Siege of Serpents is on a strict time schedule and QFP is not I decided to give Siege my attention. I thought that "tomorrow I will have time to update my other games" would not last until today.

My apologies, I still strive to update on a regular schedule of one post each workday and know I have not kept myself to that schedule.

Good news is that Siege of Serpents is almost done (three more days) and a lot of the PbP's that I play in have also concluded.

Good rolls must be contagious. I just crit a crit confirmation in a separate PbP. Especially happy because the dice roller has been giving me the finger that entire scenario.

Nice haha :) I had a long lucky serie like this with my highest level character (9). And obviously, all enemies in the scenario were incorporeals thus immune to crit. ^^

Posting will likely be slow, don't feel pushed to post. We will get back to a more regular pace after the holidays (e.g. from Jan 4 2016 onwards)

Table A: the leopard encounter is supposed to happen the evening before. Given your roleplay I decided to put it in the morning. However I do not want to rob you from spells. Therefore you can have all daily uses that you used in the leopard encounter back as if you did not use them. I think this only impacts the charm animal spell Heveel used.

apologies, no I do not have temple vanity, this being both the character's and my first campaign. Though I do know better now, that day-job statement was made in ignorance and can be ignored.
