Fallout Rampage Cap'n Yesterday |

Well, I've had a super stressful week with my sick little guy, and Skyrim seriously pissed me off this summer.
So, New plan, get to the Jebediah gorge or whatever it is at the lowest possible level, we'll see how low I can go.
Or I might see where I left off, evidently screwing shit up it looks like.

Got myself all patched up by Doc, got out the door and then the wife and kids returned with dinner, so it'll have to wait till later.
Took built to destroy and I think hoarder this time, jacked up intelligence and luck, repair, and guns and named myself Flagg.
New Vegas will not be a better place after I'm done.
I plan to try to make it to the caravan with as few fights as possible.

Does it have the DLC I assume.
Find Veronica, she's chilling at a rest stop 129 or something. Once you have her you can go to the Hidden Valley and do brotherhood missions.
My first stop though would be the air force base in the upper right corner. Nothing beats making the Boomer run and getting high fives at the end.
Big MT is great if you're sick of what an a#$@$@+ your brain is and just want it removed (trust me, your brain is an a&~~~**).
Beware of Dead Money!
I can give more advice after work, good luck! It's the best video game I ever played!
Thanks Sharoth and Thegreenbeansaredonegamer for recommending it!

Gonna be honest, Dead Money looks awesome, except that my character is gun focused.
I met Veronica, but I'm currently running with Boone and Rex. I also have a favor from the King floating around, so I don't know what to do with that.
I know I want to meet all the companions, at least to get their ending slides after Hoover Dam.

So far Phillip O'Sullivan (Good Natured, Small Frame, gun specialist) has:
+Bypassed whatever quest you do in Novac via Confirmed Bachelor (that cracked me up).
+Diplomacized my way through Boulder and left the Khans to die. (Payback for letting me die outside Goodsprings).
+Did a bunch of chores for King (high Medicine helped there.)
Then there was killing Bennie: My multiple assaults via silent pis to failed, so I did something more...unconventional.
A Stealth Boy later, I stole a grenadequate from one of Bennie's bodyguards and stuffed it in his pants. It was satisfying, to say the least.
I also just finished killing Mr. House, so there's that option gone.

I'd go see the Boomers at the air force base, or find ED-E in Primm, or maybe The Lonesome Road.
I think you'll also have a lot of fun at Big MT.
I've never had the confirmed bachelor trait, usually I play as a girl and take Black Widow. :-)
O'Sullivan is loosely based on myself, so I sorta had to take Confirmed Bachelor or else my boyfriend would be giving me dirty looks. ;)

My favorite way to kill Benny.
Take black widow, convince him you'll shag in the casino, follow him up to his room, close the door and beat him to death with your bare fists, then take his suit and dump it in the same grave he tried to leave you in. :-)
And then go to the air force base for boomer high fives.

I recently discovered the joy of pants-mining myself. My favorite part of the Black Widow option is that you can just leave him, and roleplay a courier who somehow fell in love with Benny. Not that he deserves you; he didn't even try to make breakfast. :)

Dead Money is my favorite of all the DLCs, followed by Honest Hearts. But then again, I always did like good stories. But I do agree that Dead Money is a rough DLC.
I am glad that you are enjoying Fallout New Vegas so much, CY. I will probably replay it sometime next year. I should have forgotten enough to make it sort of fresh again.

Seriously, Honest Hearts is even easy at third level. Maybe easier because I'm being a more thorough scavenger.
Although, I shouldn't get too cocky, I'm still Joshua's errand boy.
Great, now Dry-Humps-Chalk is off scalping the other guys along the riverbank on his own. For being the guy that likes to hang on the highest mountains, he sure does fall off cliffs an awful lot.

The story is pretty good, a little too preachy sometimes, but not obnoxiously so.
Which is really hard to do in video games. :-)
Yes. In either way, it was a Pyrrhic victory for the player. Loose a wonder of the world or loose a tribe's "innocence"? I always chose staying and fighting because I felt it was worth preserving Zion for the future. But it hurt.
Edit - Yes, I really got into the story and how it affected my character.

I have to make a conscious effort to evacuate Zion. As I said a few pages back, it's about the only real estate in the Fallout-verse worth fighting for,and the parts the White Legs are in are such dumps compared to the rest of it...
Well, that, and the Survivor's Journals make letting those scumbags have Zion a non-starter.
As for Benny... once, just to be a jerk, I helped him escape the Legion. And then tore every single inhabitant of Caesar's tent asunder with my bare hands.
Good times.

Found one of that guy's caves, totally looted the shit out of it.
Totally waltzed in there with Huffs-Chalk and then discovered the place was lousy with spore carriers.
Sadly for them, I just found a bunch of Psycho, and 40mm grenades.
Sadly for me, I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with it.
Sadly for Licks-Chalk I also couldn't hit shit with any other gun.
Thankfully, I had 12 bullets for my hunting rifle and got a crit with nearly every shot. Deadpool would be so proud!
Please note, I have lots of ammo, but at fifth level and jacking up my repair skills, my weapon skills have fallen behind, which crit fishing perks and weapons help mitigate.
