Flavor Build for an Evil game

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Game is set in Chelix. I plan on playing a Dread Vanguard of Asmodeus. Angel-Blooded Assimar of a Foul Brand of Asmodeus on her face.

Traits: Foul brand drawback, Called/Faith, Mother's Teeth/ Religion

Feasts: 1st Angel blooded
3rd Angelic Flesh (Silver)
5th Channel Force
7th Power Attack
9th Angel Wings (not taken until 10 to qualify/or retrained)
11th Metal Wings

question I have is this how many attacks would i have... Bite/2 wings an class swings ?

also would like concept help.. Fallen Angel ?

I can tell you how many attacks at level 11.

As built, you would get-

1 Attack at full BaB

2 Iterative attacks, 1 at -5 and another at -10.

3 one secondary bite attack at -5.

4 Two secondary wing attacks at -5.

A couple of pieces of advice.

a) Ask your DM if you can take the Multiattack feat. It will reduce the penalty on your natural attacks to -2.

b)Have a look at the Shatter Resolve feat, and then-

1 Realize how much better it is than Channel Force

2 Take it instead. But if you are in a normal party you will need selective channel to properly use it. Also consider Powerful channel. Shatter resolve allows you to de-buff an entire group and damage them as well. Likely worth the investment.

3 Thank me for my sage advice.

GM's call of course, but Mother's teeth trait is not legal for aasimar, it is a goblin + Lamashtu trait.

You want the Lost Promise alternate racial trait that replaces your racial spell-like ability with the maw or claw alternate racial trait of a tiefling which gives you a 1d6 bite or two 1d4 claw attacks.

The trait Unscathed (magic) will increase your energy resistances by 2.
Or Clergy member (race) which is flavorful if you want to be serving a deity like Asmodeus. Either is a decent replacement trait for mother's teeth.

Concept/backstory wise, you could be the offspring of a fallen angel, who branded you as an offering to Asmodeus, and who has indoctrinated and molded you into the herald of evil you are to become (personally or through a church, sect, or cult). Nothing too fancy, but goes well with class features and traits.

easily replaced with adopted trait, which lets you pick up the tusked trait from half orc or orc for a 1d4 bite instead

One other piece of advice: If you find yourself wanting an extra feat (common for a paladin/antipaladin), you might consider a one level dip in fighter. Note, you can take the single level of fighter at any point in the character progression (to qualify for any feat prerequisites).

Losing the alternate Antipaladin capstone power "Tip of the Spear" is pretty tough to give up.

That depends on 1) if the campaign will reach 20th level and 2) how long the PCs will spend there. Many of the capstones are nice, but many campaigns don't allow the character to use it very long before ending.

Also, I just noticed the original post was from October 2015...

The advice is probably a bit moot at this point.

LOL!

I should've noticed that myself.
