Stone of Good Luck Question

Do you actually have to hold the stone of good luck in order to receive its benefits, or can you store it in something like a Handy Haversack and still be okay?

You just have to have it in your possession.

Have it on you.

Don't stick it in a haversack unless your GM says it still works while on another extra planar location.

Nah, the reference was intentional, because Diablo's "Lucky Stone" has a shape and size like a dagger.
