I'm a little lost on where things are shaking out. Is there one game? Two? REcruitments or is there enough interest here that we will use whoever has chimed n to this point? Ack! I need clarity! lol.
At this point I think two games would be great but I don't know how we are going to do recruitment. kyrt-ryder would know better than me.

If you're planning on running a game Sam, my suggestion would be to initiate a Recruitment thread like this one, including a note on which AP you're planning to run [I recommend an AP because they're the best 'start to finish Published Paizo experience' available] and a note that you're only accepting Cleric characters.
Then provide a link in here to that Recruitment Thread.

Hmmm, the very best challenge would probably be Wrath of the Righteous sans Mythic powers for the PC's [dunno how much homebrewing would be required to cancel Mythic's weird 'automatically conquer non-mythic foes' stuff.]
I'm pretty neutral on Skulls and Shackles vs Kingmaker. The first is probably skill heavy and will challenge the cleric crew in that field in the first few levels, while the second is rumored to have fairly slow adventuring days that enable casters to better nova.
You leaning towards any of them in particular David?

I would, but I'm not good at using these forums yet.
As for an AP, I'm thinking Hell's rebels or WotR.

Wrath of the Righteous IF used without Mythic
Iron Gods if WotR without Mythic is too much work on the GM.
I think the reasoning here is that the AP is much too easy for mythic characters to present them with reasonable challenge.

Nah. I could care less about challenge. Easier campaigns just mean less chance of losing a character I worked hard on.
For me it's partly because I started this thread for the sake of an experiment and Mythic is a massive game-changer that invalidates said experiment.

Well, I do love buffing monsters.

You mean half-elves, who get one feat *more* restricted than the one humans get?
The main problem with an all-cleric Iron Gods is that nobody will actually be able to use the majority of the plasma cannons/grenades/etc., and you'd wind up with a party of mostly traditional clerics in an unfamiliar setting.

I might make a house-rule to help with that. Dunno what it would be though.

I know I wouldn't see any need for a houserule if it were my own game, but an extra exotic weapon proficiency feat here or there really shouldn't ruin the experiment entirely.
If there's a weapon that's really important for plot or overcoming weird specific enemies the Cleric already has an answer to that starting from level 3.
Bestow Weapon Proficiency.
By level 11 [earlier if the exotic weapons prove to be REALLY important and somebody takes Extra Traits: Wayang Spellhunter and/or Magical Lineage] that spell's coming off as a quickened spell when needed.

Alright, I am down for making a cleric who acts like a bard and I personally know you can cleric like a thief (trickery) for the right god and get disable device as a trait, and I also know you can smack face hard w a front line cleric. Personally no Iron Gods for me too futuristic. Let me know and I will post a character post haste

If you don't want IG, could you suggest a different AP?

Honestly for me I am running a KM and playing in a KM and it and RotRL are the two I have had maximum exposure to.
As for IG...its not like you can't use a weapon you aren't proficient with, its just hard. Besides I think there are ways around that, as already mentioned. I just like the idea of the futuristic *pew pew* with a bunch of holy folks.
nobody ever mentions Council of Thieves. Was it bad?
I always wanted to do Carrion Crown and I bet that could be fun with a bunch of clerics.
Jade Regent? That could be sorta funny. Clerics go on to install a new ruler. What could possibly go wrong.
Mummy's Mask? Giantslayer?
I mean there are like 13 of these things to choose from. Obviously having the material is a restriction too.
It seems to me IG has gotten the most traction so I think unless we want to get caught round the mulberry bush picking an AP it would be best to commit and just navigate the challenges...

Clerics have always been my favorite class; they are (or can be) as diverse and thematic as the gods themselves. Might build a character for this. What books/resources are open?
I'm hoping the GM's allow All Paizo Material, but thus far none of the GM's have initiated a recruitment thread as far as I'm aware.

I sorta figured based on what I have been exposed to. Horror's not as horrific if you are a troupe of "my deity say be GONE" types.
