Back on topic, got my hair touched up today. I always love the first couple of days after I get my hair done as it's the only time it ever gets perfectly straight. First time I wash it it's back to the curls again, but for now it's so straight and shiny that it actually swishes when it moves instead of sproings. ;P

(Okay, it was kinda on topic. I mean, at least it was about hair.)

Not a drop. Irish through-and-through on my dad's side, and German and Scots-Irish on my mom's side.
Ireland and Scotland are part of Britain. Britain is more than England.

Britain = England, Scotland, and Wales

The United Kingdom = England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland
Ireland = Ireland

Who cares about the Welsh?

...Well, they did give us Welshie, quite probably the best red shirt in the history of all red shirts, and a wonderful pair of Futurama gags.

Also, Anuis needs to migrate to TL's forum. He's clearly Tac's reincarnation. I don't think I've seen so many favorites since the man went missing for the summer. It's almost as if the forums themselves, in noticing a disturbance in the fabric of the messageboards, created him out of raw data to meet our need for long crafted responses, favorited posts, and a general third for captain yesterday and I to goof off with.

Truly, the lion has been reborn!

(I'm a they not a he or a she by the way, although 'he' happens to be more tolerable)

EDIT: I would also like very much to meet this tac. o:

Whoa... Really???

May we include colours?
I prefer blonde for guys and dark brown for gals.

Color doesn't really do much for me, actually. I know I'd look terrible with light hair - I look vampiric enough already.

I just wish I had a job that didn't have strict appearance requirements - I'd go deep purple hair in a heartbeat. Silly dress codes...no dark purple hair, no nose piercing...

My hair is light brown and looks great with blonde highlights... but I have never dared actually dye the color to something else. I have always wanted to. But wasn't allowed when I was younger and now that I am older and can probably get away with it I find myself worried about how bad my roots would look a few days after a dye job. So I still don't...

Edit: If I did I would totally go blonde. No weird colors like purple, pink, or blue. I do have a respectable job.

Ask, and ye shall receive.

Methinks we may soon have a new Cunningplanimal.

It doesn't make a difference to me what color someone's hair is. black hair is great. red hair is great. brown hair is great. brown hair is great and so on

everyone has beautiful hair and we are a beautiful species.

I shave my head.

If you have light hair to begin with, you won't notice much problem with roots if you dye your hair blonde. I have dark honey blonde/light auburn (depends on the time of year and how much I've been out in the sun) mixed with white hair and when I went platinum blonde for a while you couldn't really notice the roots at all until usually a few days before my next hair appointment. Headbands do wonders for camouflaging them anyways. Just for the love of your hair, go see a good colorist. Don't try to do it yourself. Too many years of that is why I went blonde in the first place and it took more than a year to finish stripping all the years worth of home hair color off my hair. (Also, FYI, dying light hair dark gets you much worse looking roots than just about anything else. Black hair with bonde roots is not a good look. :P)

I once dyed my hair grey when I was underage and wanted to be served in the pub. It worked!

Believe it or not.

I used to, but I got sick of people asking me when I got out of prison. Or asking me if I was going bald. Not sure which one is worse.

alas, an unfortunate thing to happen to a person. :c

The downside of cartoon hair: the mess. The first time I wash my hair after a touch up, it looks like someone murdered a pitcher of grape koolaid in my shower....

*adds clean bathroom to to-do list*

From the Desk of Eddie Valiant, Detective, Esq.

It appears he heard someone say "Oh no, we're out of Kool-aid" at which time he burst through Miss Lynora's door and, in a delusional state, possibly fueled by bath salts or K-2 decided to attempt jumping through her shower wall, of course with an exoskeleton comprised entirely of glass he broke almost instantaneously, sadly these occurrences are happening with increasing frequency as marketing campaigns are being discarded.

I need a drink for this one!
