inquisitor and channel energy

Advice

does anyone know if there is a version of the inquisitor that can channel energy?

thanks

Grand Lodge

Inquisitors of Nature themed gods can select Animal and Terrain Domains, as introduced in Ultimate Magic. Some gain a minor form of channel.

The Aasimar can have an alternate racial trait, that replaces their Spell-like ability, with a very limited form of channel.

No, but channeling scourge lets you treat your inquisitor levels as cleric levels for determining the number of damage dice and the saving throw DC when you channel for damage.

So, you could multi-class cleric/inqusitor and still channel for damage.

Combine with the Sun Domain to get full channeling damage against undead.

Channel Scourge is for inquisitors who dip a cleric level. Works best with Aasimar - they get some special channel feats.

I don't think this is a good idea, though. Channel means you go mad on an already mad character. As inquisitor you need strange, confused, and wish at least decent. You need even a cha of 13-14 to get selective channel along the way.

Feel your pain. I have had trouble building one, love the class cannot find a build happy with. I like iori for unarmed and 3rd level feat snake style ... seems like a nifty ability to predict people and dodge their attack melee, missile etc.

Tried one with gunslinging inquisition and high str relying on a scatter dragon pistol and axe, worked really well but he got ganked just as he got deadly aim and a seeking pistol.

Think the gun axe might work but feats are a pain.

I made a Cleric/Inquisitor of Calistria who used Channeling Scourge, Channel Smite, and Guided Hand. She liked to use channel smite and maneuvers through her wisdom based whip. It cut down on the MADness and was fun, but not at all optimal.

The Demon Hunter Handbook has the Cold Iron Warden that can use Alignment Channel. Other can that, you have to resort to 3PP books, as for now.
Rite Publishing's The Secrets of the Inquisitor has the Channeling Martinet archetype; it gives up many class abilities for channeling, though.
Kobold Press' Divine Favor: The Inquisitor gives the choice to use Censures instead of Judgements, and the Divine Radiance censure is a limited form of channeling (maybe too limited to me).
My favorite choice: Super (Rogue) Genius Games' The Genius Guide to the Godling Ascendant, with its Godling Domain. It doesn't grant spells, but for an inquisitor this means nothing. I used it to give Channel to my inquisitor as his 1st level power, and then the Celestial Bloodline powers with level advancement. Simply perfect.

thank you all for the info

Actually, there is a RAW way to do it: give your inquisitor a familiar (via Eldtitch Heritage or a Druidic animal domain like Frog, Eagle, or so), then take the Adept Channel feat. You Channel at your class level -3, though.

Is there any way to get channel as an inquisitor that is legal in PFS that doesn't require multiclassing, and doesn't give you -3 on it?
