Hey. I'm going to be going to PFS for the first time at my local game shop on the 20th, and was wondering if it was possible for me to play a Vigilante, even though the playtest ends on the 20th...? If so, will I be able to get a boon to continue playing as a vigilante? I'm extremely new to this so I would like to know in advance and for future reference. Thanks so much!

You'll want to look at the Chronicle sheet on the blog post about the Vigilante. It tells you when you need play and all. If yoy play before the 20th, you get double credit towards the rewards on ot, but as long as you play before the "extended end" of August 17th, you can keep playing the character/get 1 credit towards the rewards.

You should be able to make a Vigilante on the 20th. It might be good for someone official to clarify the exact intent and wording of the play tests, but here's my understanding:
1. Prior to July 21st, you may create and play a Vigilante character. You receive two lines of credit towards the boon (allowing you to play the character further.)
2. Between July 21st and August 17 you may create and play a Vigilante Character. You receive one line of credit per game played / GMed.
3. On August 18th, you are no longer able to create a new Vigilante character until the Ultimate Intrigue is released. Until Ultimate Intrigue is released, the Vigilante character must have the Dual Identity boon to be played in PFS

Yeah. For context, the official wording is:
If you complete an adventure by July 20, 2015 (the end of the active playtest), you can instead fill in two lines.
I think that's inclusive, but not 100% sure.
