![]() Hey. I'm going to be going to PFS for the first time at my local game shop on the 20th, and was wondering if it was possible for me to play a Vigilante, even though the playtest ends on the 20th...? If so, will I be able to get a boon to continue playing as a vigilante? I'm extremely new to this so I would like to know in advance and for future reference. Thanks so much! ![]()

It's a tragic backstory, but his actions are still inexcusable. I wouldn't say that it's not understandable, but "Understandable" and "Wrong" are not mutually exclusive. ![]()
![]() Wand of Cure Light wounds, if no one else is getting it. Also, get a Hybridization Funnel and Formula Alembic for sure. If someone else is getting the wand, get a 1st level Boro Bead instead. Unfortunately your vulture doesn't seem to have the strength to support you with armor (13 Str) so I'd go grounded and have the vulture flyby attack/drop stuff on them, using one of his pet tricks. Alternatively, you could go unarmored on his back, getting mounted before the start of each fight. ![]()
![]() I'd guess it's just acting like a normal animal, not that it actually changes. As for the costume, I'm not sure. I think I'd rule it as optional, personally, even if it is adorable. Alternatively you could use magic on it (Disguise self+Share spells) to make it appear like a different individual in social settings. For instance, turning your Vigilante's Trademark Black Cat into a Calico or Tabby. ![]()

Non Sequitur here, but that seems like a really stupid idea. What happens when the dice falls out in the shower, you don't see it, slip on it, and get hurt? Anyways, on the subject of books, OP is clearly in "The exception to the rule" category. I'd bring it up with the DM at the session itself and see what they think. ![]()
![]() I'd say go with ice tomb: It's thematically appropriate for a witch to pick it up for going into a icy area, and the most useful. FYI: If you already have the healing hex you can pick up the spell "Hex Vulnerability" and heal the party that way--they can voluntarily fail their save so they can be affected anyways. |
