Does Animal Aspect: Otter give you the ability to breath while swimming (in water)?

Otter: Your hands and feet gain webbing, and your lungs gain capacity, allowing you to move through the water with ease. You gain a Swim speed equal to half your speed, and all the benefits of having a swim speed. Additionally, you can hold your breath for 4 rounds per point of Constitution before being forced to make Constitution checks to keep holding your breath.

No, just an extension to how long you can hold your breath. The specifics of Animal Aspect override the general of the polymorph description

Good question. You could see the part about holding your breath as overruling the general polymorph rules. But it is not clear.

@Manwolf: I asked because it wasn't 100% clear. It says "additionally" not "instead of being able to breath" To me it represents a RaW vs RaI conflict.

This does not GIVE you ability to breath in water, but does MAINTAIN your ability to breath in water if you had any to begin with.

I wish it does, but not fair to martial because you get both swim spell and the spell water breathing in just one spell. Water Breathing is level 3 and Animal Aspect only level 2, so no go.

By that statement a druid who wildshapes into a shark or squid doesn't gain the ability to breathe in water.

I would use this ability to hold my breath for gas attacks and poisons. I'm guessing that's why they said "additionally"
