yeah, so I was wondering whats the biggest sword a medium player character can wield.
from what I understand, though there are a bunch of enlarging abilities. a person can only gain the benefit of two at a time.
they seem to be split into two categories, abilities that increase the weapons size, and abilities that treat the weapon as if they were one size greater.
so, lets say our player is a human with exotic weapon prof - bastard sword and wield a large bastard sword in two hands at a -2 penalty. lets say that the weapon has both the Growing enchantment and the Impact enchantment.
does this mean that the biggest weapon our medium PC can possibly wield is a Gargantuan weapon? or is it possible to wield a colossal weapon?
also, is there any place that actually states weapon sizes in feet? I don't know how big a gargantuan bastard sword would actually be lol.

Couldn't you slap an Enlarge Person on this guy so he's large with a huge bastard sword, then use those two enhancements to get Colossal damage?
Give him Long Arms and he can hit bad guys on the moon...

As for size, I think the simplest answer is to double it every size increase, which seems to work for the largest and smallest sizes, but in the small/medium large range, 50% seems more likely. I don't think there are any rules for it. In any case, your bastard sword would only be Huge (Growing makes it gain a size, Impact does not). So I would say about 4x the size of a medium bastard sword, give or take (maybe only 3x if you assume that medium to large is only +50%).

I'm pretty sure theres a FAQ somewhere that states enlarge spells don't stack. and even if it did I kinda like the idea of a regular human wielding a 15 foot sword thats probably 2.5 feet wide haha. and thanks for the size guide.

Monstrous Physique 3 would let you grow to a Huge Sized Humanoid. Then you can wield your Gargantuan Bastard Sword--if you know how to use a Bastard Sword--2 handed at a -2. You might then cast Lead Blades and cause your Bastard Sword to inflict damage as if it were Colossal. The base damage would be 5d8, I believe.
