It's legal.
By double strike I assume you mean double slice, which raises your off-hand damage to full strength instead of half. (Which by the way a flurrying monk gets anyways).
Dragon style sets your first attack to 1.5 strength. I know it's worded funny, to make it sound like you would get your strength + 1.5 strength but that's not what it does. You just get 1.5 strength on your first unarmed strike.
Dragon Ferocity add 0.5 strength to all your punches, including your first.
Which means your first unarmed strike will do 2x strength, all others will do 1.5x strength.
Which is exactly what a regular monk would get while using his flurry, and he doesn't have to spend a feat on TWF or double slice. Though the core monk suffers from BAB issues, the Unchained Monk doesn't. Though he doesn't get as many attacks with his flurry, they extras are at full BAB which makes up for it.

i think he took ranger for the 2wf and double slice since master of many styles dont get flurry.
but actuly the off hand full str mantioning is doulbed in the monk's text. so he doesn't need the double slice.
in flurry(which mom doesn't get : "A monk applies his full Strength bonus to his damage rolls for all successful attacks made with flurry of blows"
and in the improved unarmed strike: "There is no such thing as an off-hand attack for a monk striking unarmed. A monk may thus apply his full Strength bonus on damage rolls for all his unarmed strikes."
so even if you don't get flurry in master of many styles your unamed strike still get full str. he only need it for flurring with weapons in he off hand.
and when flurring the core monk get the same bonus as unchained, but with more attacks.
the unchained however start with all monk weapon proficancies. which can give many many new things to play with (my fev is the double chain kama..)

It'd be better to pick up TWF from Ranger since you don't need Double Slice for an unarmed Monk. TWF @2, ITWF @6, TWR @10. That's really all you need. GTWF is a waste of a feat and TWD doesn't work for unarmed strikes or natural weapons. For that matter, you could do the same thing using Slayer instead of Ranger if you don't care for the spells and other things Ranger has over Slayer, and pick up the Slayer offensive bonuses (if you're focusing on dishing out damage).
