I'm going to run The Silverhex Chronicles soon and came up with the question what if, Gods forbid, I get a party of 6 Lini's.
Can I have multiple copies of the same pregen running in the same adventure?
As this is PFS I need a link to the ruling because I've searched and couldn't find it.
Thanks - Farnaby

Well I gues it depends on the GM, but why would any GM, but I usually carry only one of each pregen (2 for some of the more popular ones, and I flat out refuse to give some of them to new players).
For net new players I do try to control / shape their first experience. Limiting them to classes with more simple rules. Fighter, Sorcerer, Oracle, Cleric, Rogue. I won't say no if they really want to try something different, but I really try to steer folks away from Droogami and her pet and any other pregen with a pet or a situational ability.

I had twin brothers sit down at my table one time playing pregen amiri's. they treated it like hans and franz from SNL. it was pretty entertaining, even if they did stomp the boss in a single round in dalsine affair.
It was two or three rounds, you just never got to do much because you couldn't Spell Combat your way out of that Bag o' counters from the Oracle you couldn't see.

2 people marked this as a favorite. |

*Vrock flies off, leaving a very angry and wounded Tyrannosaurus Rex behind*
GM (me): "Let's see who the Rex goes for. There's three of you within equal biting distance."
Players: "Don't forget Harsk's badger!"
GM (me): Alright, there's four of you."
*Rolls a d4, gets a 4, everyone laughs*
*crits, confirms, grabs. Next round swallows whole*
Best contribution I've ever seen from Harsk.

I imagine this might come up when a table of veterans sit down to a Core game.
"What's that? We're playing [REDACTED]? Better bring a party of Channeling Kyra's."
saw this a while bacl...
"A Core game of Bonekeep? We better do a party of Iconic Paladins...."
we later settled on two Seelah's, two Lini's and an Amiri. Did very well too, didn't loose anyone (not even a Droogami)

*badgers begin to blink and shake their heads groggily, now ignoring their former masters*
*then they realize there's another badger in their midst*
*pit fight continues*
