The Swordmasters Flair Blue Scarf must be held in the off hand. Can a character also wield a weapon in that hand?

While I can't vouch for the RAW its deffinitely not RAI. Its meant for swashbucklers and people who use only one handed weapons.

Sovereign Court

Swordmaster's Flair (blue scarf), for reference.

I think off-hand is a pretty well understood game term in Pathfinder (although that doesn't stop it from being debated ceaselessly).

If you must grasp the token in your "off-hand", it would seem you'd only have your "main hand" available to do other things with, such as wielding a one-handed weapon.

All right, that sounds reasonable.

I have a couple other questions.

If you had IUS, could you hold the scarf in your off hand and punch someone in the face with that hand? I was considering dipping Kata Monk and MOM. The thought was to pick up Snake Style/Snake Fang. I'd get reach with a weapon in the primary hand, and take Snake Fang triggered AoO with the off hand. I'm not sure if the is legal, though.

Also, can the Blue Scarf be used with a slashing weapon if you have the Slashing Grace feat. Normally it requires a light or one handed piercing weapon.

I think that works, since the Swashbuckler can TWF. I could not find a rule saying it did not work.
