Yes, only the SLA benefits from the special SLA abilities (min/level).

Note: The bonus feat Augment Summoning applies to both SLA and summon spells cast, thus only applies to the Eidolon ONLY if it is summoned via the Summon Eidolon spell, as opposed to the summoner calling the Eidolon.
