Modern World Pathfinder (Interest Check)

Was wondering how many people would be interested in playing (or running) a game in a world that has emerging modernized weaponry. Nobody would be restricted to gungslinger, nor discouraged from other classes. But basically guns would be considered simple weapons, and there would be modern weapons, though rare, still available.

I would prefer to be a player in this game, but I might decide to run it depending on who is interested and if I can get the right inspiration for a campaign.
I was wanting to play a sniper, but what happens happens I guess.

I'm interested in a modern role play, especially within the supernatural vein. But I have no idea how I'd run it, short of white wolf... which would be really problematic. As such, I'd love to be a player in someone else's modern world, depending on themes.

I would be interested in playing, I've never GM'd and unfortunately do not have the time or inclination to run a game.

d20 Modern has a system for this sort of stuff—but it could also be interesting to set Pathfinder characters in a modern world, as sort of exceptional individuals with access to magic, etc.

There's actually a rather easy way to do this. Run a Call of Cthulhu module, but replace monsters in that system with appropriately eldritch things from PF, 3.5, or the old Call of Cthulhu d20 splatbooks (though those won't be srd)

I would also suggest looking into the shadowrun game world. (its set in the near/far future) but has a lot of modernness to it with a lot of supernatural/fantastical/guns
