eidolon and enlarge person

Rules Questions

Ok so it says that a summoner can ignore type restrictions when casting a spell on his eidolon does this apply to spells like enlarge person

I dont think he can ignore any thing but the share Spell thing help him to use things that normally wouldent go. Yes enlarge person works if it is the summoner that cast it on his own Eidolon.

Quote:
Share Spells (Ex): The summoner may cast a spell with a target of “you” on his eidolon (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on himself. A summoner may cast spells on his eidolon even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the eidolon's type (outsider). Spells cast in this way must come from the summoner spell list. This ability does not allow the eidolon to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

Ok ty

Yes, you can.
You can ignore the eidolon's creature type (outsider) and the range of personal (a.k.a. "you" only spells).
But only the eidolon's summoner can cast the spell (be it from spell known or wand), and it must appear on the summoner spell list (which enlarge person does). It also must be a spell not a spell like ability.

(at least that is my understanding of the share spell ability)

Wands don't count. You have to cast it yourself.

I can't find the FAQ at the moment, but you need to cast the spell -- can't use a scroll or wand -- in order for you to be able to affect the Eidolon with a spell that normally couldn't target it.
