Horseshoes for non horses.

Rules Questions

Since every one of the sets(but one) of horseshoes say that a horse must wear them, is that more flavor text, or can my... Dinosaur mount not wear horseshoes of speed?

Does your dinosaur have hooves?

Strict RAW it is for horses because horses and ponies are the standard mounts but in a home game I see no problem allowing them for other mounts.

I'd say you have to get it custom-made to fit the dino, but it should work.

Horseshoes are only useful to something with hooves, since they are nailed on.

I'm not aware of any dinosaurs that have hooves.

Grand Lodge

According to Animal Archive, the following animal companions are the ones that use horseshoes:
Antelope, aurochs, bison, boar, buffal, elk, horse, llama, megafauna (megaloceros), moose, pony, and ram.

Note that this might not be all of them if any were introduced after Animal Archive.
