Question about what happens when you crit with Deadly Aim

Rules Questions

I’ve looked up a few older posts but am still a little confused with how this works. So if I make a ranged attack with Deadly Aim and it’s a critical does the following happen?

Dead Aim Bonus Dmg +6
Weapon used, Musket that has a x4 Crit

Would the Damage Roll be 4d12 + 24?

Yes.

All static numbers get multiplied.
Or more accurately you are rolling 1d12 +6 four times. It is just easier to multiply the static damage.

One exception to this is Precise Strike damage from Swashbuckler or Duelist. This is precision damage and is NOT multiplied on a critical.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Deadly Aim is just Power Attack for ranged weapons. It behaves just like Power Attack does.

So, if the Power Attack bonuses get multiplied, chances are the Deadly Aim ones will, too.
