Does the aid another AC bonus apply to touch attacks?

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

I'm just trying to clarify here, as I was not clear from the reading of rules whether the AC bonus applied to touch attacks or not.

I have a Order of the Dragon bodyguard that I'm running to try and maximize aid another AC, so I want to make sure whether it applies or not.

Thanks for any help.

If you succeed, your friend gains either a +2 bonus on his next attack roll against that opponent or a +2 bonus to AC against that opponent's next attack (your choice), as long as that attack comes before the beginning of your next turn. Multiple characters can aid the same friend, and similar bonuses stack.

It doesn't say a specific AC the bonus is to (Normal, Touch, Flat-footed) so I would give the +2 bonus to all of them. It is untyped, so it stacks with other aid another bonuses also (as evidenced by the example).

I say it does apply. It could easily be considered someone yanking someone back last moment etc. so fluffy wise easily done

Mechanically it's untyped, un specified bonus to AC so it should in theory apply to every interaction of AC.

All AC bonuses apply to touch AC except armor, shield and natural armor.
