Well, with ACG and all its new feats, classes, and archetypes I can't help but to wonder who the best grappler is now? And by grappler I mean someone who uses the grappling... flow chart? and the grappling CMB maneuver.
on first blush the Tetori Monk, the Lore Warden Fighter, and the brawler look like obvious candidates... but I know there are odd things like Feral Gnashers who can actually get pretty good at grappling (being able to grapple as a free action on a bite is kind of nice) and the Defiler Hexcrafter build.
So, who do you think is the best grappler? I think the best way to do this would be to seperate "traditional" grapplers from "untraditionals"
And by traditional grapplers I mean: Grapplers who perform grapple manuevers themselves and are nto dependent on odd abilities (i.e. the Hexcrafter Defiler build who takes advantage of her hair) or other creatures (the fun little Hunter who takes a dip into mammoth rider with a Constrictor snake as a pet, is human to grant their pet +2 intelligence from the get go, and gives their pet the Final Embrace chain).
The "Un-traditionals" will obviously be the odd ball things like the Hunter and the Hexcrafter.

I'm not going to say Verminous Hunter is the best, but it IS an interesting new take enabled by the ACG. Vermin love grappling apparently.

Idk...
The Tetori looks pretty legit for a Grappler still...
While they don't get as many bonuses, they are capable of negating Freedom of Movement, Polymorph Effects, Escape Artist Bonus, being incoporeal, and pretty much everything else. Additionally, they gain the constrict ability which is nice (since the monk has a pretyt good unarmed damage)

MoMS/Tetori Monk if it can be done + Strangler Brawler. If not, Tetori Monk + Strangler Brawler or just MoMS Monk/2 + Strangler Brawler. Then add the Style feats of Snapping Turtle Style(s) and Grabbing Style(s). DONE.
