            Also:
-we are 4 lvl 5-7's playing tier 6-7
-party consists of a bard (me), a ninja, a cleric and a summoner
-im severely underoptimized (rogue 2 / bard 5, dont ask)
-im severely underequipped (I like to have wands of every spell)
-I do have enough pp to get ressed
-were doing this to help our local VL get his 5th star at gen con
Help!! What should I buy?
My considerations so far:
-scrolls of haste, good hope
-spell storing enchant on armor
-potions of ??
-a crystal from a chronicle that summons a large elemental

Without spoiling anything, I would suggest some standard items.
Antitoxin, Antiplague, Cure Light Wand, a couple potions of cure, upgrade armor/weapon, potions/scrolls of fly or spider climb, etc.
When I did bonekeep, here is what I purchased before hand: Mithral Breastplate 4,200 gp, Alchemist's fire x5 100gp, Wand of Cure light Wounds 2 pp
10 Firearm Bullets, Cold Iron 2 gp, 10 Firearm Bullets, Silver 25 gp, 10 Firearm Bullets, Adamantine 61 gp
30 Doses of Black Powder 30 gp, 20 Cold Iron Arrows 2 gp, 20 Silver Arrows 41 gp. That is a total of 4461 gp and 2 pp spent.
Some of those were not needed, and others that were needed I ended up not having, but I survived.

^This >:D
Also, in addition to what Dylos said, I would also recommend having at least one traveler's any tool (assuming you have a copy of Ultimate Equipment). This is not just a suggestion for Bonekeep, but a suggestion for any Pathfinder doing any scenario.

            Without spoiling anything:
Use your spare gold to shore up your weaknesses. Get some consumable that cand turn the tide in a battle you would normally struggle with. You should know what those things might be.
Also, it's a race against time. If you can save time with anything, you'd be smart to do so.

We had two deaths too, but got through all the rooms.
For a time, my character felt invincible: Day of the Demon, City of Golden Death, Year of the Shadow Lodge, Traitor's Lodge and finally Bonekeep. No deaths, just a walk of glory through some infamous meatgrinders. Weapon in the Rift was a bit hairy, but I wasn't too worried.
Then I played The Sealed Gate. Dead in two rounds.

I am signed up for this at GenCon with a couple of my friends (we plan to go normal mode).
Normal mode, but we had a lot of trouble, two or three people playing up and my archer died before he had the chance to unload with a certain item.
Why? A confused 11th level alchemist used 6 cone-shaped force blasts to mince our unconscious bodies into sodden giblets.
It happens.

Our first foray into bonekeep we had the same character die twice (once I was close enough to heal him with my breath of life scroll, the next, he bled out in fog).
Yeah, that was not a good run for my rogue. Though it turned out to be a good character experience for her and further headache for Vrog afterward. After being saved from death twice by his bard of Sarenrae (who's actually a cleric of Rovagug in disguise), my rogue converted to Sarenrae and picked up a level of bard (Dawnflower Dervish). Imitation being the highest form of flattery and all that. I'm still looking forward to the two meeting in character the next time to see what happens.

Ugh, but yes, it does happen. I hope you all had the PP/gold to bring yourselves back.
I will be playing with my Alchemist, as well. At that point he should be 8th level. He is also a Grenadier. :)

6x 12 splash damage from a flying buffed alchemist, -6 con from a poison, 2d6+x twice from a stinger, 3 negative levels...
Meanwhile, one character is running scared, another is invisible and "waiting for a good opportunity". The rest of the group is just too harried to do anything.
Bonekeep was easy sailing compared to that. And we at least tried to do teamwork.

But that's where the fun begins!
Sometimes you have to roll the hard six.
Last night during Rise of the Runelords
GM: "The world goes dark, as per deeper darkness. Walter, what do you want to do, you're up next."
ME: "My swashbuckler knows exactly what to do in a black out." Roll for hit and miss "That's a possible hit. And a, 23 to touch, so I should be good. I grab the arcanist and steal a kiss."
ARCANIST: *GASPS* "You rogue! My character slaps him."
[Later]
GM: "The disintegrate hits your arcanist for lethal, turning her to a pile of ash.
ME: "Can I spend all my panace to dive in front of it, since I am adjacent and in front?
GM: picks up a d8, on a 1 or a 2 you can't. Rolls a 6. You dive in front, taking all the damage. On a 1 or a 2 you're turned to ash as well. Rolls a 5. So the arcanist sees this beam coming straight for her and you step in front, getting blasted for 61 damage.
ME: "It's the least I could do, milady."
[Still later]
GM: "[REDACTED] throws up a wall of force, separating you and him from your friends. Would you like to jump to the other side?
ME: "You mean, 'would I like to die a coward's death?' Hell no." Proceed to take full attacks, two out of three attacks threaten and confirm crits
You've just got to take those challenges head on and without fear of failure. For Cayden!

I’ve played both 1 & 2, and getting through the dungeon, even with PP/Gold to bring myself back, is definitely challenging enough!
I guess I’m just not as good or daring as you are, Walter. :)

No, you're just wiser than Arkus, my perpetually drunk swashbuckler/sentinel of Cayden Caliean.
The ex-half-orc definitely died trying to pull a Jack Sparrow against a tentacle monster that was flooding a town. The Cayden cleric brought be him back, not with a raise dead, but with a reincarnate. Why? "Because life's an adventure!" So now Arkus is a human. He can't handle my liquor and is attracted to elven women. I suppose we all have our crosses to bear.
I pray you don't fall victim to a similar fate.

Hey, you may not be able to handle your liquor now and attracted to elven women (your heart is destined to be broken), but that is a great experience you won't forget and a story you can revisit with your friends.
I made it through Bonekeeps 1 & 2 alive, although didn't finish the first one (only 4 rooms). However, a friend that was playing with me, died in both of them. Ugh
