Black Blood

Liberty's Edge

What are the actual physical properties of Black Blood in Pathfinder? I found out about it roaming the archives of nethys but there is no sheet I can find on the properties of the substance.

Check the sidebar here. d20pfsrd is easier to search.

Be warned, I have seen players think they get everything for free! They fail to realize they merely get extra options. They still have to spend an actual revelation to get any of these abilities.

There are a few things you get. For free isn't exactly right, but you do get them without spending Revelations.

You (eventually) get Cold Resistance/Immunity.

You get Negative Energy Affinity (affected like Undead by Positive and Negative Energy).

You get a -4 to all Dex-based skills.

You get access to the following Revelations, but you still have to use one of your Revelations (or a Feat taking Extra Revelation) to actually get the abilities:

Black-blood Spray
Dark Resilience
Darkvision

I'm currently playing a melee Oracle/Warpriest build and took Black-blood Spray and Darkvision (to go with Armor of Bones and Death's Touch from Oracle of Bones). I haven't had a chance to pick up Dark Resilience yet, and I may not end up taking it, even though it's worth a Revelation for sure at higher levels.
