Basically Rania Elmadhy is a Aasimar Bard(chelish Diva archetype). With that she gains better armor. I want to build a singing operatic shield maiden. So what spells should I be taking and feats? First bard build.
My other question then what would be a good trait type plus then? I kinda figured plus to perception and something. Thanks for that dirty trick idea. It could apply to sandstorm conditions and maybe acid? Also I want a drawback because I like having background and attributes do as much as possbile. Thus why I play Pathfinder. So many options, Everywhere.
So I'm making a tiefling and with them I found a chart of random oddities that could manifest from being touched by such malfesence, one of which was having one eye like a cyclops. I cant for the life of me figure out how to make a Drawback to reflect this dealing with the lack of depth perception. The Cyclops page actually says the visual acquity is higher due to the larger eye except for depth perception.
I like your ideas. a divine potion/alchemy man is sweet. the only thing is see as a problem is that vessels only can damage certain aligned targets. it seems very limiting especially since most animals are neutrally aligned. good for killing undead or shiny knights but i can't hurt a deer even as a chaotic evil ritualist. Maybe what the vessel does is connected to your alignment like the channel ability for clerics? evil ritualist vessels deal damage to living creatures or heals undead while good ritualist vessels deal damage to undead or heals living?
After finishing Chaika, the coffin princess (anime) i've been tossing around the idea of a half scifi half magical campaign that uses a magical fuel system much like in the show. The fuel is kinda like coal in that its made of long dead animal and plants but the power comes from the memories and emotions linked to their lives, the fuel can be used for casting spells and for normal work in engines, you dont have to use it to cast spells but you lose you own memories in the process. My problem is how to implement it in the Pathfinder rpg. Any ideas on how it would work is appreciated.

The Shabti are created magically and though they are in peak physical form they don't necessarily have anything else going on. so if you go with that idea you might give a couple of traits that make it not a human but keep the blank slate plan.
Changelings make the best clerics. plus the lore fuels an adventure story.
I tend to find words that associate with the character and translate them into another language. I often use google translate or words from LOTR languages black speech or their versions of elven and dwarvish. Most recently i made Isolde Akul-Gnyja. The first name is from a Wagner play i found while researching shield madiens, the last name roughly translates from Black Speech (orc/urukai language from LOTR) as Icy Rage. works because she is a bloodrager suli based on ice spells and shield bashing.
I understand that anime is not for everyone and honestly even individual shows are not for everyone. But hopefully these lists of people's favorites will help you find something you do like. Angel Beats- literally has made every person i know who finished it ball like a baby.
I remember one of the barbarian archetypes has a superstition against writing in general. Maybe he was wronged by a worshiper of Asmodeus and now he never wants his name written, just in case. Maybe he takes offense to anyone referencing him being short or small, thinking if anyone says it out loud he will never grow any taller and zealously tries to show how tall or big he is.
I have done this. I had a Trox Barbarian(Busted as it comes, +6 to STR). As the most experienced rpg player I was kinda of helpfully pointing the rest of the party in the right direction(literally everyone else's first campaign except DM). Unfortunately the party had turned into secrets and lies between everybody. So to clear the air Garros (me) decided everybody should share their whole stories thus far including any secrets(no subtlety). Unfortunately it turned into the rouge losing her marbles, the other rouge falling off the wagon back into the bottle because the first rouge killed his wife, the bard/skald being very emo, and the sorcerer being pretty much the same honestly(he was nuts anyway). Basically the Barbarian with a CHA of 9 broke the party mentally. Thankfully he had 6 arms and a STR of 26 so he could pick up all the blubbering babies. Don't know what their problems were Garros had to kill his mentor in gladitorial combat, then went on a rampage killing everyone at the games. Wusses.
In response to Undead Lord possibly being a bad archetype: I have to agree the loss of a domain sucks but the ability to basically become a healing power house seems badass. At mid to high levels you can not only channel to hurt living for lots, but with the Death's Kiss ability (Undead Subdomain) + the Unlife Healer ability you can plus 50% heals for both live and undead and at 16th you can max plus 50% heal both your party and your undead army. Also I think you have to get creative with the corpse companion.
It may not be the best archetype in an optimization stance but the healing boost and flavor are top notch.
So I have built a Undead Lord archetype cleric and I want to take the Charnel Soldiers feat seeing as a possible +4 to all saves for me and all my zombo friends is super sweet, but does it work with the rest of my party? It says that the undead gain the teamwork feat as a bonus feat, but only gain its benefit from themselves or me, but does it activate the rest of the party's teamwork feats?
I would really like if they would put out more info out about the gods which inhabit the Mountain of Heaven like Andoletta. Also it would be nice if they would give more info on the actual worship of the gods. they gave us the Evangelist, Exalted, and Sentinel prestige classes but only the major patheon got the rules for deific obedience. be nice if some of the other gods got the same treatment.
I have Cleric of the Tian Xia deity Nalinivati, basically the neutral eastern version of Yderius. I really want to take her to the next level by going the Exalted prestigue class route however like apparently every deity except the main pantheon, Nalinivati has no Deific Obedeince description. So I'm trying to get ideas to flesh out both the worship for the Obedeince and the Boons that the Obedience would give. Nalinivati-The Serpent's Kiss
Caina Smabukra (last name is little claw in Orc) Half-Orc monk Born in Katheer from a drunken pairing of a keleshite and orc. Mother abandons her with her father. Turns put to be good father until the tribe is killed by other orcs (good orcs vs. bad orcs) and in trying to save her father has her tongue cut out to stop her screaming. Dumped in Katheer as a slave but is kicked out on the street because of race(Racists...they exsist. Even in RPGs). Picked up and raised until adulthood by cleric of Andoletta, a seemingly ageless old crone with a strict but fair attitude(possibly actually Andoletta herself). Finds out her biological mother is still alive and take off into the big world as a mute who cannot tell a lie in search of her.
Both a moment of triumph and despair. Party basically saunters into a cave on the advice of Detect Magic. We are attacked halfway in by a group of I think young white dragons. Human gunslinger(Musket master, me) somehow wins the intiative. Takes a pot shot at one's wings. Deals damage but only drops it about 10ft down. Proceeds to direct hit max damage and then crit it in the face for full on kill in one round. Unfortunately we were on the other side of a wall of darkness with alot of actual dragons on the other side. After some insane diplomacy and bluff rolls on the part of our rogue he directed us silently to run.
Pretty sure our party murdered a baker's dozen of goblins who were non combative and genuinely afraid of us. Then we asked for loots and xp's and were told we got none because we slaughtered helpless goblins who did not fight back. and were miffed I believed. Karma caught up to us though. In the next area we got the crap kicked out of us by a cleric bard of Lamashtu.
I'll start it out. Sammana Thorden (Friend of Bones in dwarven I believe) Female Changeling who after being dragged out of town into the nearby swamp as a child by a knight of Iomeade, was raised by the undead in a temple of Gogunta (boggard goddess of the swamp). Became a cleric of Gogunta (Undead Lord Archetype) who communes with and raises the dead as her friends and even keeps one with her as a companion, but due to her mistreatment as a child stays away from civilization and makes money as a boatwoman using her undead friends to help ferry and guide people through the swamp.
I'm stuck in a rut for character creation, and am looking for interesting characters with cool backgrounds. I've built a Musket Master, multiple clerics, a trox barbarian, a tiefling wizard, and a half-orc qinggong monk. I want to keep going but nothing really is tripping my trigger. So who has cool characters that haven't seen the light of day but should make it into a party? Lay 'em down.
Maybe try out the Story Feats section of Ultimate Campaign. Some of them can be really interesting plot points or if you are into homebrew maybe make up some of your own story feats or traits. If they survive an encounter with an aboleth and defeat it they get pluses vs mind effecting and aberrations or other some such.
I just got to the point of writing the backstory for a half-orc qinggong monk with the silence and truth vows. Caina(just a name) Smabukra(little claw in orc) is a mute by choice. During her childhood her tongue was cut out by some evil bad dudes who also killed her father, but even though healing magic runs rampant around the Inner Sea she has decided to leave herself mute. It got me thinking. Is there any other disabilities that make it into play and how other people are playing them to their advantage?
Im a Pathfinder player who has recently come up here to school and was wondering if there are any groups or players who are up for starting a campaign. I can't say I can GM but I do have Ultimate campaign, combat, equipment, and soon to have magic. Im near the U of M so if there is anyone around there that would be sweet but really anywhere in the city is ok.
