101 Melee Combatants

So my group has found themselves taking part in a three part tournament, consisting of a melee, joust, and marksmanship competition. Since all of them are terrible at riding, and the two shooters are nothing special (at least not at the range they'll be shooting) the melee will be the focus. So I figured, why not see what sort of melee fighters the paizo community can come up with? I'm looking for both 'unique' and more 'common' npcs, and naturally there is no need what so ever to fill out a full character sheet. That being said if you want to give them a backstory, then by all means go right ahead!

1. Warpriest of the Dawnflower, A somewhat older man who is still spry of step, and swift in combat. Uses a flaming scimitar, to show off the powerful light of Sarenrae. He came to Alba* to spread his more militant sect of the Church of Sarenrae, and has so far impressed the usurper king with his feats in past melees.

*Alba is the name of the city/kingdom they fighting in, and it was recently taken over by a former mercenary captain, who then named himself king of course.

2. Glambrax. A demented mullet wearing alcoholic human afflicted with dwarfism. Numb from years of self abuse and wild with rage at his own existence, he wields a rusty two handed flail.
When not trying to win prizefights he lives in a barrel in the slums and sells roasted rats and a crude beer fermented from acorns.
Both rats and acorns being gathered for him by street urchins he has befriended.

I am not good for names, but...

2. The Laughing Monk - A middle-aged man with a constant source of humor. So much so one would never suspect him of being such an accomplished and deadly fighter. Master of a style of combat that emphasizes on speedy and precise shots with deadly force.

Lord Black, an anti-paladin who commands a small army of fanatical gnolls at the edge of a remote desert.

4. Mac the Giant Slayer is a halfling ranger that once slain a hill giant and claimed its shortsword that rivals the size of his own body. He has since enchanted it with impact and further boosted using lead blades to ensure it hits just as hard as a Giant greatsword. He's infamous for cutting down arena fighters with a single blow using Vital Strike.

5. Erekth, a half-orc fighter who specializes in a tetsubo. This is his seventh year participating in the tournament, and despite a mediocre showing in the previous six years, he has developed a reputation among the crowd as a "spoiler" competitor, as his potential for absolutely crushing blows with his weapon have allowed him to eliminate competitors far more favored to win. Feats: Bludgeoner, Weapon Focus/Spec, Power Attack, etc.

6. Bob the Human Fighter
This is not his first time old Bob has gotten his +1 longsword soiled, and it won't be the last. Or will it?

He's been fighting goblins for a few years, along with his friends, a cleric, wizard, and rogue.

He uses a longsword, a heavy shield, full plate armor, and his feats are geared towards hitting things. He doesn't really talk much.

7. The Butcher
A human slayer wielding a large cleaver (Falcata) as his main weapon and a large shield in his off hand. He specializes in using called shots to cripple the limbs of his foes in a variety of terrible ways. A crowd favorite for his vicious and bloody displays but he prefers to leave is opponents crippled yet alive. Often seen donating a portion of his winnings to the healing of his opponents leading many pit fighters to have mixed feelings toward him.

Official Paizo FAQ updated this and impact/lead blades do not stack. Lead Blades is actually the prerequisite spell for the impact ability.

Risa's a Brawler/Gladiator that's all about style. She's here to have fun, and to make sure the people (read: potential sponsors) watching her have fun, too. She wields her cesti with great finesse, dodging and striking with swift movements that show off her flair. She of course makes full use of the Performance Combat rules, focusing primarily on demoralizing foes with Hero's Display and moving around the ring with Mocking Dance.

Silver Crusade

8. Artillery Annie: A female dagger specialist Fighter who is incredibly superstitious of her weapons, never wielding a single weapon more than once. Has a fortune worth of masterwork daggers on her of different styles and makes, each one only ever allowed for one attack, as well as a few other light weapons to add to the mix in case of emergencies.

Sczarni

Arachnofiend's Risa was actually #8 by my count.

10. Zierout the Coward is an elf who fights with a whip and a heavy spiked shield. He prefers to stay out of his opponent's reach, constantly moving and using the whip to soften up an opponent, trip him, or knock his weapon away. If he finds himself cornered, he uses his shield to bash and bull rush, and can finish fights quite suddenly with it.

Suggested Feats: Whip Mastery, Spring Attack, Improved Shield Bash, Arcane Strike

Torv Wyrmskinner, 10 level Nephilim ranger with a focus on slaying dragons.

12. Varash Flameclaw, a dragonborn fighter who's lived most of his life as a mercenary. A realist of his race who realized most fights lacked honor, and thus saw no point in allowing it when fighting, he is known for being willing to do whatever is necessary to defeat a foe.

With a well-used and reliable longsword and buckler to complement his fighting style, he is surprisingly fast for a fighter in full-plate armor, capable of moving as if it was barely there for short periods of time (roughly 4-5 rounds in game). He fights like a striker, using his strength and speed to overwhelm individual opponents before breaking away from combat after delivering the final blow, looking to reassess the situation before diving back into the fray. He will admit to having trouble handling multiple opponents at once, and will immediately seek a way to put his back to a wall in order to better compensate for such a weakness.

The crowd also likes to call him the living barbecue, for his most fearsome asset is his flaming breath weapon, unleashing a torrent of flames from his toothy maw in close combat to burn his foes to the ground, though unfortunately its something the crowd only gets to see once a day at best.

13. John Cook, the son of a chef and a member of the town guard. The Town guard submits a few champions to this contest every year, but nearly all of them got sick right before the melee. With no one more capable, John Cook is here to defend the honor of his comrades. Will his good (or bad?) luck be enough to come out on top?

John would use the Defiant and Inexplicable Luck feats. While unfortunate in many other ways, he is actually quite lucky in combat.

14. Kralnor the Undying is the bastard son of a orc raider. He managed to eek out a living in this human settlement and enters these melees as a chance to win big. He usually participates in underground fighting rings to make a living.

Kralnor is a half-orc Unbreakable archetype fighter. He makes use of as much of the diehard line of feats as he possibly can. Also, he uses his favored class bonus to get the Orc favored class bonus for fighters ( +2 to the Fighter's Constitution score for the purpose of determining when he dies from negative hit points.) This allows him to maximize his combat time, and demonstrates just how darn tough this half-orc is.

Liberty's Edge

15. Jorgun Fieraxis, a wandering prizefighter who's damn handy with a cestus in one hand and a shield in the other. (Brawler fighter focused on the cestus and dirty tricks.)

16) Hodge, Podge and Modge are a trio of halfling slave-warriors under the ownership of a long retired gladiator who earned his freedom. Their youthful spirit during combat, feats of acrobatic daring-do, and general unmerciful bloodlust have made them a fan favorite. (Treat as a mixed bag of rogues or fighters, making use of teamwork feats and sneak attack dice.)

17) The Underminer is a surly older dwarf with a great barrel chest and tiny coal eyes. He wields a mighty keen heavy pick with devastating results. His pecs have pecs.

18. Death & Taxes
- A brother/sister pair of wandering human warriors, with one wielding dual kukris while the other wields an enormous scythe.
(Butterfly sting crit-fisher/x4 hitter combo)

19. Daisycrush
A female half-orc warrior who fights unarmed, preferring to pull the life from her opponents with her bare hands.
(Tetori or MoMs monk build)

20. Dr. Hezekiah Graves
- A middle-aged man of high birth and education, he enters such blood-sports to provide release for the beast within that his self-inflicted medical experiments brought forth.
Vivisectionist/Beastmorph Alchemist and/or Master Chymist

21. Wind, a samsaran kensai and master of Tsuruto-do (the Way of the Crane) kenjutsu. He considers the tournament a wasteful display of violence, but one of his disciples rashly entered. After he forbade the disciple to compete, detractors mocked his dojo, saying that his style was too ineffective to compete. These accusations left him no choice but to enter the competition.
Samsaran kensai magus with Crane Riposte and a katana.

22. Grug Cowardman - A halforc fighter mercenary of great renown. He is an expert with his tower shield, and his spiked throwing shields. He fights defensively with poison and throwing Klars (orc heads) and his many throwing shields. He loves to provoke orcs into rage filled attacks that leave them exhausted and vulnerable. He revels in his perceived cowardice for using a shield and not embracing his half-orc rage.
He wears his wealth on him (everything is coated in gold or gems).

23. Chrowixheo the Toolbox is a gnome tinker, well-known in town due to his talent with everything from locksmithing to candle-making. His fifth year in the tournament, he never fails to put on an impressive show. His armor is studded leather with several belt pouches, and his deft hands allow him to switch between an impressive array of self-crafted weapons on the fly. Last year alone he fought with a piston maul, kusari-gama, double chicken saber, aklys, battle ladder, bag of caltrops, starknife, snag net, and ripsaw glaive, switching from one weapon to the next almost effortlessly. Rumor has it that he's built himself a few new toys this year, and had a few of his old favorite weapons enchanted, though he's not saying which ones.

(Gnome with Master Tinker trait and Quick Draw feat, any class)

Dark Archive

Adamantus: This cloaked figure moves purposefully without speaking. A heavy clanking follows his every footstep leading a passerby to believe he is a mere human warrior in heavy armour. In reality he is a Clockwork machine made by a greedy wizard to win the tournament.

Intelligent Clockwork Warrior Fighter Lv. 12
Special Purpose: Win Tournaments
Dedicated power: Rapid Repair at will

HopGob the clumsy, a goblin exiled for his mishaps. More of a clown than a fighter.
Bad Luck (ex): all roll of 5 and less are fumbles whit humiliating result.

Scarab Sages

Standeroff: Titan Mauler Barb 2/ Two weapon fighter x

Standeroff is one of the more unique members of the competition. He doesn't win all his fights, but he is concidered a mid-tier underdog. He has a constantly retreating style and fights with two spears. If he succeeds in keeping his foe at bay, he wins.

27. Tano Madyaro - a swell-build man, scruffy, caries a faily large falchion that bears a striking resemblance to scimitars used by desert giants. Despite a light untameness in his outlook, the man radiates confidence and resolve, will and patience. Those who know of him, can tell that he is a reviered and respected giant hunter.

A LN Ranger with the infiltrator archetype, built around using a falchion, lead bleads, a ring of enlarge person and vital strike, with his fav. enemy being a giant.

28. Bloodsteel Gorevenger - a happy-go-lucky, middle-aged, full-bellied sell-sword from feral lands. He made an oath to never ride a horse, unless he will have to eat it.
Always out for some fun, be it drinking, gambling or the company of fine ladies. Despite this uncanny demeanor, this man is quite leathel and serious when it comes to bloodshed. His many, many scars are more than proof to that.

An unorthodox dual-wealding barbarian build, with a few fighter levels mixed in for feats.

Sczarni

29. Milo Mysticeye is a halfling sorcerer with a big ego and an overbearing attitude about the supremacy of magic. He has no real melee training, but is convinced that his magic will allow him to win the day. Nobody actually wants to see him win, and he is frequently booed at.

He casts Mage Armor and False Life on himself at the start of the tournament, and Expeditious Retreat, Bull's Strength, and Greater Magic Weapon when the announcer calls his name. He may also cast Enlarge Person, True Strike, or Cat's Grace during the fight, or refresh False Life if the situation calls for it and he can get out of melee range long enough to. His weapon of choice is a spear.

30. Mr.Tell. A well dressed man wrapped in the finest robes he can afford, his turban glistens with gemstones atop an eerily lifelike carved ivory mask of a human. He is in fact a disguised undead knight with PC levels in cleric and fighter. He is sentient and neutral, battle and the roar of the crowd are the only things that motivate him anymore. He loves to taunt his foes, tumbling and dancing about them. The crowd loves him and hates him equally for his showboating and his silence. He wields a bladed belt and changes what it is often.
He will sometimes let a skilled and entertaining foe "slay him" only to rise again a few days later, mysteriously (resurrected by his Necromancer friend Penner).

Long live the 1k1 threads!

31. Havoc. A huge hulking suit of spiked adamantine full plate armor with a full-faced helm, wielding an adamantine greatsword. Is there a person in there at all? A gravelly, basso profundo voice that speaks only rarely. He fights like a force of nature rather than a man, his adamantine greatsword cleaving foes, armor, and weapons with equal ease.
CN male half-orc Gorumite battle oracle, wasting curse, maneuver mastery (sunder)

32: Galarof, the Goat Rider.
Once a proud gnome knight, he was captured and put to slavery after a war. To make fun of him, they made him ride a strange goat (medium size) to fight. He develop a strong bond with his goat, and his on his way to become on of the favorite of the spectator, being as deadly as he is ridiculous.
