GM Chyro |

I've never watched GI Joe, so the pun eludes me.
Vassago, do kinetic blasts provoke? If you i got a last aoo.
Alacorta chips away another 4.
-------------------
"HEATHENS!!!"
Vondrella makes an attempt to flee.
Withdraw, provoking from Eagle and Vassago (if kinetic blast is not a ranged attack) from square marked yellow.
Alacorta: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Vassago: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
.....
Vondrella, beaten very much, manages to run around the south of the group and into the woods.
All is very silent.....

![]() |

Kinetic blasts that involve ranged attack rolls do provoke, but she has reach with a scythe?
At least when I positioned myself, I wasn't adjacent to her, and honestly... why would I be next to her? :P

![]() |

Vassago, not a fighter by trade, finds it pointless to chase after her, but looks to see if the others give chase particularly the birds since they can move fast enough to get a parting shot in.

GM Chyro |

Since i was on a tablet at that moment, i couldn't move.
If people want to give chase, roll for some perception.
Otherwise, you've won the fight and can proceed to the RP endgame.

![]() |

Thanks for pointing that out Vassago, yeah Pallies get good stuff oat level 3 and 4
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
if that is enough Sele moves 20ft draws and throws a chakram at the target of his smite
chakram of evil hunting: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 161d8 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Vassago looks at the basin with curiosity. "This... seems somewhat off compared to the rest of the decor, no?", he points out. "Is there anything special about it, lady Keera?"

GM Chyro |

Sorry for pushing this ;)
Sele's attack misses.
Since Keera hadn't responded, i will assume she won't bother.
Keera doesn't know about the basin, but from what the VC had told you in the briefing, its is the cause to all this.
You decide to cautiously empty it onto the table, to let its water and the table's contents rot away in time.
The satyr patrol leads you to the nymph queen's court and you share the news of everything which has transpired, including Laurel finding the cure. Great relief comes to the court.
Queen Sintyra: "This is most joyous news, please tell Laurel to leave a batch when she comes tomorrow afternoon. We can make our own then. Thank you pathfinders, you have proven my trust in your organization was right."
With Vondrella having fled, the cultists defeated and the basin in your possession, you can make the trek back. Since you guys rolled your saves to get cured in the following days, you feel in excellent shape when you arrive at the VC's office.
-----------------------
VC: "Mission accomplished, i see, by the looks of relieved smiles and the basin. We'll make sure this is carefully handled, a plague is one of the least things we want to have on our hands."
1 XP and 2 PP, gj guys.
Primary Condition: Find the basin and return it to the VC. [V]
Secondary condition: Help Laurel find a cure [V]

![]() |

Yes, please. I was very near to lost two friends due that plague and don´t want anyone to pass the same. And it´s a very dangerous plage, as it can kill animals and people for equal.
Now, if you don´t mind I´ll go to rest. This last mission had exhausted me.

![]() |

Sele walks up behind Vassago and then yoinks back his ticket.
Then walks off shaking his head and muttering
"What some will do for a chance with a pretty girl"

![]() |

"Señor, a good show is a great way to relax while invigorating the heart and mind! And you do wish to speed her recovery, no?", Vassago walking alongside the paladin as the group returns to Falcon's Hallow.

Trying to get this to appear on my list

GM Chyro |

Alright, our next is...The Infernal Vault....
Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng’s pinched face is hard to see from behind the stack of books that divide the front of his office from the space behind his desk.
A shockingly old man with white hair and slightly milky eyes, he is surprised by the appearance of outsiders in his office, and looks up, half startled and half relieved.
"Thank you for coming on such short notice. I’d been meaning to give this assignment to you at a later date, and with less pressing time constraints, but it seems that time has conspired against us."
Dreng mumbles to himself as he passes out a stack of notes and maps from behind the wall of books. "These notes are from a recent Chronicle—it contains some interesting finds, but one of them is now the utmost priority to the Society."
Dreng lightly taps a bony finger on a map, on which can be seen a section of Absalom with a small corner townhouse circled in deep red.
"This townhouse is a façade for an underground vault. The vault belonged to an old noble family of Absalom that was expelled a decade ago—the Decklands.
The family was forced out when their patriarch—a man known as Orias—was discovered to have written documents detailing the city’s defenses, documents he intended to hand over to hostile forces loyal to Cheliax. The Chronicle indicates that a copy of these documents exist within the vault. A Pathfinder looking into the Decklands and their Chronicle references in Cheliax was attacked and killed ten days ago.
The thugs made off with a copy of his notes—fortunately, he’d already sent us another. We have reason to believe it was the work of the Decklands’ oldest child, a young woman named Celeena, and she’s the reason this assignment is now urgent.
The fact that Celeena and her forces were willing to kill a Pathfinder for this information shows how desperate they are to retrieve the documents.
If she were able to get these documents and return them to Cheliax, it would undermine the defenses of the whole city, as well as cause the Society undue headaches. Find Celeena, find the documents in her vault, and prevent this situation from turning into one big mess for the Society."

![]() |

"Sounds like we have a mission, then... by 'FInd Celeena' - do you mean you want her brought back too, and is that 'dead or alive' or just alive?" Kenji speaks up surprisingly, as he is usually pretty silent during these mission briefings.

GM Chyro |

VC Dreng: "I'd like you to take her in alive, if possible.
It'd be ideal if we can put her to trial, not merely for the display of our professional dealings, but also to avoid a heated argument between the two nations."

![]() |

"Alive it is then... thank you for clarifying that... "

![]() |

What we know about the underground vault. Can we just access from the building? Is there any guards there? Or we just have expect whatever defenses the Decklands put ten uears ago?
Keera looks happy to hang with her friends again. So much time has passed since she see some action.

GM Chyro |

VC Dreng: "Unfortunately, we have no details of the whereabouts of an entrance. You'll have to find that yourselves."
"As for defenses, the agents in Cheliax report that Celeena hired mercenaries from the Devil’s Claw Company, a mercenary organization
of failed Hellknights."

![]() |

"Alive sounds good, but surrounding herself with failed HellKnights? That's just tacky."

GM Chyro |

VC Dreng: "I agree, people can make weird choices."

![]() |

Keera looks everybody but stays silent, caressing Alacorta.
Serpent-man, blue girl, flaming human and big bird inside a house. Weird refers more to us than to her, I think

![]() |

"Our first move is to goto the town house then I suppose"

![]() |

Suddenly a voice can be heard from outside.
"Hark! What tidings from yonder window break? Achtung, Lot, for 'tis another frabjous day - the Society calls us to SAVE THE STORIES!!!"
There is a pounding of - hooves? No, not exactly - outside, then a few moments of silence before a tall and spindly Taldan man, wearing a shining breastplate and massive sword over aristocratic finery, with gleaming teeth inside a manic grin, a long, droopy black mustache and eyes that seem to be looking...somewhere else, bursts into the room.
"Alself me to introduce mylow: Spenser Pellinore Quixote the Last, Marquis de Exupery, at your service! Fresh aback from distant Magnimar, I am, but everpoised to venture anew!" As he speaks, his mustache falls off. His hand catches it seemingly of its own accord, and presses it back on his face. It seems like a maneuver he's very well practiced in.

GM Chyro |

Quite an entrance.
I'll get to it when i get back from sports.

GM Chyro |

Ok, we were at the sir Quixote's entrance.
Vassago will join us later, he was on a busy schedule since last week.
-----------------------------------
Arrival at the Townhouse..
Sitting on the corner of a quiet street, the red brick Deckland
townhouse melds in with the middle class buildings in this portion of Absalom.
A small, flickering candle can be seen through a barred window on the building’s west side and a single door can be seen on the building’s south face.
If approaching from the west:
The bars can be pulled loose with a Strength check, DC 15.
You can make a perception roll as well.
If approaching from the south, you can make 2 perception checks.

![]() |

Approaching from the south Sele walks up and attempts to rip the bars off
Str: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

Kenji attempts to assist Sele with the bars.

![]() |

Keera looks how the two strong men pull the bars. Are you going to help them, Spenser?
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14 I think it´s only one check

GM Chyro |

Approaching from the West....Sele makes a good effort on the bars, but falls a bit short, yet with Kenji's help it works and they come off.
Both of you hear two voices arguing over...a card game?
Which comes to a halt suddenly after the noise the bars made, when coming loose.
Climbing through the window is a DC 10 climb.

![]() |

Keera will let the more melee inclined to go first, but it´s prepared to cast feather fall if any of them fails to climb properly.
It´s not a time for "ladies first", you know.

![]() |

Kenji climbs through the window, hopefully before anyone inside can arm themselves and attack him.
climb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

![]() |

Sele attempts to climb in
climb: 1d20 + 5 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 - 5 = 9

![]() |

"Keep vigil, Lot!" He says to his mount, which turns out to be a massive Bactrian camel in studded leather barding with bad attitude blazing from its eyes, and a large persimmon in his mouth - the reason he'd lagged behind, if the sounds of a vaguely irate merchant floating back from some distance behind is any indication.
Climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
aid Sele's climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Having a mount to bring him up to window height to begin with makes Spenser's entrance a trivial matter, and he helps pull Sele up behind him.

GM Chyro |

As i doubt each of you stays in the square where you enter, you make room for the next heading to Kenji: 1d4 ⇒ 3Spencer: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Spenser, coming into view of a corridor, now catches the attention of two unsavory looking men, wielding swords and shields.

GM Chyro |

[Pinches between eyes]
How could i forget......
Despite Sele's hit, blue refuses to drop.
Persistant types..
Kenji
Keera, from what i've read, there are no tricks for readied attack.
I doubt that, with 2 int, Alacorta knows the concept of it.
More likely, it's a 'come', and 'go there', for Alacorta to know where to go, when his mistress went in first.

![]() |

Then Keera does the order and Alacorta don´t obeys because he doesn´t understand it. He just moves to the point.

![]() |

not sure I understand how anyone is attacking from the distances shown on the map or where people actually are... so here is Kenji's attack if and when he's in attack range on either opponent. If he can move into a flank position, he will for the +2

dmg if hits: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
