Horsechopper +1 promo card

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

(spoiler alert to anyone who hasn't gotten their Adventure Pack yet)

The Horsechopper +1 promo card states:

"For your combat check, reveal this card to roll your Strength or Melee die + 1d10 +1. If you are proficient with weapons, the difficulty of the check is increased by 4."

Is this wording as intended? Generally weapon proficiency HELPS the use of a weapon, not hinder it.

Sovereign Court

Yes that is the correct wording. If it were a regular card, I'd expect that to be a typo, but as a promo card, especially a Goblin-y one, I'd fully expect this monstrosity to be better in the hands of someone who doesn't quite know what they're doing.

This is going to make Kyra so happy. Awkwardly happy, but still happy.

It has been known to make Ezren happy in my small group. 'Umm, I am out of spell, well I guess I have this stick!'

It is made for goblins, it is intended.

Goblins aren't proficient, they just swing. this is one of those weapons that is made for the non weapon users.

For goblins, proficiency is something that happens to other people.

Confirmation that Ranzak is not proficient and cannot be proficient with weapons or armor.

Mike snark != Irrefutable Fact, fortunately for the fate of the free world.

Oh, Ranzak is proficient with many things.

Now I am just confused...

Thank you both for playing along.
