Okay, it looks like we have lists for everything else so I thought I'd start this one.
Have you stared at Hawk's wonderful Banishment list (except for the Detect Evil that should be Detect Magic) and gone "How in the world have I not banished this Bane yet?" You can also list those Boons that you would want to banish and not the best Boons you'd never get rid of.
For me, it is the Shopkeeper's Daughter. As I've mentioned before, I run 5 parties, and the number of times I've had her appear in the 51 (had to repeat one due to bad luck) times? ONE!!!! And only 3 of the 5 parties has removed one Zombie Nest (are their 2?) The only Boon I can think of that is shocking is that I've only removed one Burglar from 3 parties though that may be because some are being used by the parties.

Ugggghh!!!! I can't believe I did that. Upload submitted to BGG. Hopefully no one is using the list to determine what is Basic, but are instead using the cards.
EDIT: Here is a dropbox link if anyone doesn't want to wait for the BGG upload to be approved.

So, I think there is only 1 of them, but I've not removed the Xulgath. What is more surprising is how much I play and I think I've almost never seen him. Like maybe once total.
And my wife and I's group of 4 that has finished Fortress of Stone Giants has removed 0 Goblin Raid barriers, 0 Mending spells, 0 Quarterstaves, and 0 Bracers of Protection.
And of course I've removed 0 Detect Evils. Despite my best efforts.

Yeah, I didn't realize that until I banished my 2nd Detect Magic AND had a Detect Evil in the same group. I went "Well, I have to just make a note at the bottom.". Then, I went "Wait, Detect Evil isn't Basic.". I've pretty much gotten rid of almost every single Basic monster with only 3 of the 4 Skeletons (Character Add-On btw) in all 5 parties. Those Quarterstaves are funny. The only weapon I've had trouble with is the Dart, but there's only one of those.
Oh, and ouch on those Mending spells. Once the Emerald Codex appeared, I immediately started banishing every Divine spell I could so I wouldn't draw lousy cards with it with the other 4 groups. I've even banished 2 Cures, sometimes 3, which I never thought I'd do.

The real problem with the Emerald Codex is that you can't banish Mass Cure. I pulled two of them in a solo game. Mending was actually useful....

When we hit HMM, we banish all banes on the list, since this only makes it tougher. We do the boons normally, but elimination of the easy banes makes the game a tad more challenging.
Actually, come to think of it, I don't think we've been putting them back in for any of the games... Like a boss..?
