Is the only difference between Augury and Scrying the Recharge Check? Seems to be kind of a letdown for Scrying if its true.

Read again. Scrying lets you scout any location. Augury only lets you scout the one you are in.

I'm confused augury appears to not let you scout anything it just tells you if a certain action will be good, bad, good and bad, or nothing. Where as scrying lets you scout an area if and only if the creature you are trying to scry fails its will save.

I think you are referencing what those do in the RPG. But this is the card game. So they work differently.
