Hi Everyone,
I’m itching to play a “support” sorcerer for PFS - a character that bends the fabric of reality to help out in weird, random, and all-around chaotic ways…think “the Genie from Disney’s Aladdin”. But, I would like this character to be a bit more focused on party buffs than the “sorcerer who thinks he is a god wizard” type build. But, I’m not sure were to begin. Any suggestions?
Also, are there any good party-wide buffs like Bless and Heroism on the arcane spell list? Or, is this idea of a “support sorcerer” just an oracle wannabe?

I think yes, both the Ancestor and the Stone mystery brings some good bluffs (Stone skinn and heroism.)And the Dual-Cursed Oracle archtype is great in a support role. Generally the cleric list is good for supporters.
Edit: i re read and realized that you want a sorcerer that Supports sorry. Yes you can do that too just make sure you get the buff spells, enlarge person is good at level 1, Bull str at level 2( to be retrained later), haste and heroism at level 3 and Stone skinn at 4 are all good support spells.

Sorcerers do not have the best list for this. What they do have is a good list for causing chaos. Slow and Glitterdust are mass debuffs. You have all the battlefield control. Grease, Web, Fog Cloud, Create Pit, Stinking Cloud, Black Tentacles, Wall of Ice, Confusion, Wall of Stone, Wall of Force. Combine with things like Haste, Mirror Image, Enlarge Person, Protection From Evil (Communal), Mage Armor, Fire Shield, Resist Energy (Communal), Protection From Arrows (Communal), Blur, Invisibility (Sphere) (Greater), Protection From Energy (Communal), Stoneskin. Going Buff/Debuff/Battlefield Control won't spread you too thin and you should have lots of different things to do so you will be very useful in many different situations.

Boy are there is an Archetype that can get that theme going. Maybe not as much the utility in some cases, but the flavor? Sure.
This is great, but, I don't have the boon that grants access to Ifrits. So, I need to stick to the basic races.
To create an dhampir, fetchling, grippli, goblin, ifrit, kitsune, nagaji, oread, suli, sylph, undine, vishkanya or wayang character, you must have a Chronicle sheet that opens the race as a legal option at character creation.
