Lookig for GM for skull and Shackles or home-brew.

Recruitment

I'm looking for someone willing to run either Skull & Shackles or a homebrew that allows templates. Any one willing?

bump

I'm running Skull and Shackles right now, and we might be looking for a new player (we've only got 3 people, but I'm not sure if my players want a fourth or not).

I can ask them tomorrow and make sure. They could use somebody with Charisma.

Cool, let me know.

Yar, everyone's cool with it.

Let's see, stuff you probably need to know.

Character Creation:

-25 Point Buy Stat Generation.

-All released Paizo books (the Advanced books and the Ultimate books) fair game. Really, if you find it on the SRD, and it's Paizo, you're good, but run it by me just in case, ther emight be the occasional thing I don't quite understand how it works or I just think is ridonculous.

-2 Traits plus one Campaign Trait.

-HP: Average plus one (d6 is 4, d8 is 5, d10 is 6, d12 is 7).

-Average WBL for 4th.

Houserules/Additional content:

-Dreamscarred Press' Psionic classes and the like. They're well made and well balanced IMO, and also interesting.

-I do not care for alignment restrictions. Like, at all. If you can justify it, go for it. Divine casters will still be a bit limited, that's just the nature of the classes, it's hard to muck with without disrupting balance or making something break in some way. I allow a bit of leeway though, first and foremost being Clerics of ideals. Gimme an ideal, justify it in your alignment, and you're good to go. I will assume that your starting alignment is your god's alignment and you act accordingly. Slip more than a step away, and that's your fall condition, as well as anything I deem to go too far against your ideal (you'll be warned once or twice before an actual fall occurs).

Other than that, your Lawful Barbarians and Chaotic Monks are fair game as long as it makes sense. "My Barbarian is bound by the traditions of his tribe and upholds the honor of his people, that's why he's Lawful" is fine.

-I may allow Chaotic Good Paladins and Lawful Evil Anti-Paladins. Work with me if you're interested and we can come up with an acceptable Code and ability changes.

-I MAY adjust the price of some overpriced items, and see how that plays out. The Amulet of Mighty Fists, most prominently, is twice the cost for half the value of an actual weapon.

-Certain spells are subject to vetting. Not necessarily banning, but we'll say being used "on probation". Use whatever spell you want, but if I see any "Blood Money + Simulacrum = Infinite Wishes for no cost" shenannery a god may strike you down where you stand. Fair warning.

That said, feel free to get creative with spells, skills, and other abilities. Run it by me first, but if you have an out of the box use for it, I always like to see that. That goes for pretty much anything, cinematic moments are fun to see. Ask me if you can do something, and the answer will usually be "Yes, but".

-Selling back items you've bought goes for full price. Simpler for me, better for you. If you buy a, let's say, +1 Flaming Sword and decide you want a +1 Frost Sword, I don't like it when you get shafted selling that sword you paid 8k for for only 4k, and then getting shafted further for the extra 4k you now need to shell out to get the new one. We can fluff it however you like ("I traded in my used sword and Gondrak's used weapon and walked out with my brand new sword today!"), but that's the mechanical gist of it.

If you've got any questions, tell me. They could use a Cha based character (to recruit new crew, spread their Infamy, and just for general purpose) but I won't push you.

Man, give me a holler if you end up wanting a fifth (especially if Billy doesn't go with a Cha character.)

Level 4?

Yeah. They just started book 2.

And Yorick, you'll be first on my list if we need another.

Would a bloodrager from the ACG be ok?
otherwise I'm thinking a seaborn sorcerer.

Bloodrager is fine, though we already have a Barbarian. Party is currently him, the Goblin Vivisectionist, and a Magus.

Never mind. I'm going to go with a summoner. Little talkative man with a big burly pirate eidolon.

Here is the alias. crunch is done. I'll have fluff and description soon.

Looks good, but that Str mang. I may have to make an exception for you in particular and look at your encumbrance periodically.

I should be able to introduce you pretty quick. They're at Rickety's Squibs so there's pirates around willing to join a crew, and you can be one of them.

Gru can easily carry anything excess. He doesn't have very much.
