When is the advanced class guide officially coming out?

Should be out at GenCon in August.

Well, since this is already here, instead of making a new thread...maybe threadjack this one with something that also has to do with the ACG?

Though I believe there are no set guides/rules for creating classes, it will be full of advice.

I'm HOPING that the advice is something or at least sets some sort of guideline from people creating way overpowered classes...aka...some sort of guidance towards balance of some sort.

This is perhaps why a pt system with classes may be seen as suboptimal (not sure they won't have a pt system, but I've heard, or believe I've read others saying they won't have the pt system) as eventually someone will find some sort of loophole and exploit it to create overpowered classes with the excuse that the classes are perfectly legit due to the pts.

As such, guidelines can be tricky...what sort of guidelines do you think we'll be expecting in regards to creating (or hybridizing) our own classes?

It hit my favorite FLGS today. I missed getting a copy by 30 minutes.

Damn it.

How? I thought retailers were not suppose to sell it yet?

It turns out the guy I spoke with over the phone gave me some incorrect information. When I went in to order a copy I found out from the owner that he was referring to the Advanced Race Guide.
