You can get it by taking the Final Embrace feat. To qualify for that feat, you need to gain constrict. To get constrict you can take a two level dip into white hared witch, or use a belt of Anaconda's Coils

Final Embrace would be nice if it wasn't race specific. So close, and yet so far.... :(
Beast Shape is actually a good idea, since the character I have in mind will have that ability sooner or later. But if there is some sort of class feature (even from an archetype) or feat-like ability (even Bestiary feats, though that would have to be limited to what a medium humanoid character can get) would be best.
Still, thanks for the advice.

Hamatula Strike gives you pseudo-Grab. My favorite use of this involves a style feat that make your unarmed strikes into piercing...

Ummm, I just posted how :P

Indeed. My bad. Although that item is a bit too expensive right now. :(

You can't. But if you have constrict, greater grapple, and rapid grapple you can grapple three times per round as a standard, move, and swift action, and automatically apply your damage each time.
Tsc, that's too bad, I was hoping for some rules-legal way to do it, since the grappled enemy would still be able to full attack me (assuming he has a light weapon with him).

Since you're getting free grapples just by hitting with Hamatula Strike, I would free action end the grapple on your turn, full attack, and hopefully re-grapple just in time for the enemy to have the downsides of it on their turn. The real question is if getting the grapple mid full attack cancels the rest of your attacks.

Getting the grapple condition doesn't stop a creature from full-attacking. Pin prevents it. Maintaining a grapple is a standard action. But most creatures that have grab don't bother maintaining, they just full-attack again on their turn and usually that 'maintains' the grapple.
it depends on feats and abilities. My tetori with constrict is not letting go no matter what. My grapple bonus is much higher than my attack bonus, and can make more grapple checks per round than iterative attacks.
