Hard copy preferably.

If you're looking for lore about the campaign setting, get The Inner Sea World Guide. (Of course, you can also take a look at PathfinderWiki, but that's not a hard copy.)

Specifically, you might want to look at how PFWiki's canon policy tiers sources by authority.

The Pathfinder Wiki is faaaar superior to The Inner Sea Guide which has one paragraph of info on a location for every ten (or 12) locations. The Wiki will have (at least) one paragraph on 9 out of every 10 locations.

Which "lore" do you seek ? Golarion setting overview, or specific land/region ?

James Jacobs's brain is the best source of Pathfinder Lore.

If you want something more readily available, though, you'll want to check out the Inner Sea World Guide.

James Jacobs' brain is surprisingly available, actually. For answers to specific world-lore questions, anyway.
