Demoralize + Other Effects.

So we know from Jason that you can't stack Demoralize on a target twice to cause a frightened condition. However is it possible to apply a different fear effect to a Demoralized target to shift it to frightened.

An example being, using demoralize to cause a target to become shaken then using the Sword Saint's(DEP) Terrifying Iaijutsu? As the ability doesn't reference to using an form of intimidation would it stack in the same manner as if fear where cast on a demoralized target?

Terrifying Iaijutsu (Ex): At 5th level, a sword saint’s iaijutsu strike devastates the morale of foes that witness it. When a sword saint successfully hits with an iaijutsu strike, all foes within 30 feet must succeed at a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the sword saint’s class level + the sword saint’s Cha modifier) or become shaken for 1d4+1 rounds.

Becoming Even More Fearful: Fear effects are cumulative.
A shaken character who is made shaken again becomes
frightened, and a shaken character who is made frightened
becomes panicked instead. A frightened character who is
made shaken or frightened becomes panicked instead.

The description of stacking fear effects from the core rule book.

I still was wondering too if that could work. I remembered something in a post that could imply you couldn't stack on a demoralization.
I hope I misunderstood/it is not the case, because it sucks, but I prefer some back up on this.

You can't use intimidate to Demoralize and cause greater levels of fear.

Quote:
Demoralize: You can use this skill to cause an opponent to become shaken for a number of rounds. The DC of this check is equal to 10 + the target's Hit Dice + the target's Wisdom modifier. If you are successful, the target is shaken for 1 round. This duration increases by 1 round for every 5 by which you beat the DC. You can only threaten an opponent in this way if they are within 30 feet and can clearly see and hear you. Using demoralize on the same creature only extends the duration; it does not create a stronger fear condition.

Except the question is about demoralize stacking with everything else. (the bolded clause is referring to multiple uses of demo - why else would it mention "same creature"?)

Dirge of Doom is the only thing I know of that explicitly can't stack with other abilities/effects.

This combo should be good to go.
