"Ah yes, a nice quote about the item in its description"
-Sam Stone
On another note, there seems to be a fairly broad distribution of item locations this year. At least I haven't noticed a lot of one slot or other items thus far.

I saw that one. (Assuming there aren't more, of course.)
Suddenly really hope my item doesn't suck <.< lol
"Hmmm. How can I make a wondrous item a weapon or at least make it help me do damage?"
That item was so SIAC that the description was pretty much just "it does this spell."
Remember, just because you have a 300 word limit, doesn't mean you have to use all 300 words.

OK, how do we report rules breaking? I just encountered a ring.

Just wait for the spell in a literal can. It must be out there.
Hmm. You didn't even bother taking out all the ZZs from your template. No soup for you!
4th memory modifying device.
And one that is a similar sort of concept to my own item, dangit. :p
ATTUNEMENT! That's my first one, folks. Now I need to find me some filigree.
Ah yes, the inevitable item that perpetuates the stereotypes of a particular race that haven't been in fashion for at least two editions of the game.

Saw my item already = yay!
Glaring flaws that were invisible when I submitted it punch me in the face = boo.

Edit: And I voted for the similar one, as the other wasn't even a wondrous item.
So far with my almost 50 votes, one item I'd like to keep. I hope people keep submitting, but it would be great for everyone to read the rules, submit wondrous items, follow the formatting, and read Sean's advice thread.
Will the judges drop the bottom 25% sooner than later?
Saw my item. Fortunately, I didn't have to vote it down, because the other item had zero formatting and was pretty bad.
Ah, the old "blind but not blind" trick.
Seeing a good number of decks and a few weapons as well.
Is there a way to see how many votes you've done?
A weapon is a hand slot, right?
Grrrr
And two attuners so far. Thankfully I have no alcohol in the apt to start a drinking game.
A SAK and a MIC....which one should I vote....hmmm...

Did...did you just double space your entry?
lovely background story. But I do not really want to know that.

Feat in a can. Feeling better about my entry.

Came across my item, realized too late that when I switched two sentences it makes it read a little clumsily. Foolish mistake, ah well better luck next year.
But otherwise I've seen some okay items and seen at least three items inspired by the Legend of Zelda series of games.

I bet the voting system starts to have intelligence now...
Found an item that I think should be disqualified. Makes me wonder how they would even transport it too.

Hilarious item. Probably not seeing light of the top 32, but I'd love for a DM to ok it in a game.
Got a lovely item where the description was cut off mid-sentence. Apparently they were going to add more abilities to the item.
Was still plenty of wordcount yet, so wasn't just a case of sloppy pruning.
If your item was forged for one person, then how can I create one?
Since I've already seen both items, I wish I didn't have to wait 60 seconds to vote....

I've seen the same item three times now...and this time, I had to vote for it.
*Sigh*
Hate voting for a crappy item just because it got paired with a joke...
That is so textbook spell-in-a-can it is boggling... and it's a dull spell to boot.
And the item it's up against is way b0rken at that price.
Second item I've seen with author's notes left in the submission box.
Wow. Three spells in one can with backstory.
Comedy is hard to write. You did well and I'll give you that, but there's a time and place.
Plus, you make this vote difficult.
That's NOTAWONDROUSITEMNOMATTERHOWMUCHYOUTRYTOWORKAROUNDIT. And it's too inexpensive for what it does.

Oh MY! I don't want a item which makes me suffer from it. Cursed!
