Ok every time I read the name of one of the consumables I'm like that's magical viagra it's got to be.

Its a huge warning, because it happens more than people think. Trazodone is another huge causer of that in men (obviously).

While my mother was never a regular player, when I was in 6th-7th grade she hosted an ongoing game and sometimes would act as an reoccurring character. Specifically she enjoyed playing my (and my brother's) charcters' mother. It brought in some more mature play (characters considering what they do) but it was done well and didn't keep us from taking down some goblins.
When our characters were killed, her character, wanting revenge, became the major villian in our next game. That was our first exposure the a villian that had any depth we could understand.
(She slaughtered us).

I understand the need to add "flavor" for making your hand slot item a gauntlet or a hand wrap...but they're really just gloves. -.- Also gauntlets are ARMORED gloves. Couldn't I use them as a cestus to punch someone in the face? I feel like that's breaking the rules somewhere...

This is why I only go in for disorganized play. It's always better that way. Also, I don't have to wade through page after page of threads splitting hairs about the rules and screaming for FAQs. (I still do sometimes. It's like a train wreck; you just can't look away.)

I'm getting a group of about 10 items I see over and over again, to the point where I'm convinced I've seen the matchup before, only to realize that I've seen A vs. B and D, then A vs. C and D, and now B vs. C followed by B vs. D...

Falconry gauntlets were just leather...they are technically many different types of gloves.

I always thought that gauntlets protected your hand from something physical (like falconry gauntlets, although leather, protect your hand from sharpie claws) regardless of material made vs gloves just covered your hands for warmth or for fashion.

After a review by some peers this weekend, I have the strong sense my item was among the culled. Silly lack of an English degree.
Also, I can't be alone in thinking of Stargate Atlantis when I heard about the culling, right?
