I've got a lot of writing to do. Just finished something for Rogue Genius Games this morning and I've got outlines for three other projects I need to get finished and sent out this week which I'll have to get working on shortly thereafter.
...and of course, I'm not making it any easier by distracting myself with all this voting. If I actually make it to the Top 32 this year, I may as well barricade the doors and unplug the phone, because I won't be going anywhere.

Fiction: Wayfinder will now accept all submissions from the public, 750 or 1500 words. We do recommend you join a writer’s group to help with editing and development, though.
I would really like to try fiction this time around. If anyone is interested in setting up a writing group, I'll be happy to coordinate it. PM me :)

Where is Set with his stream-of-consciousness brainstorming here-are-lots-of-Cheliax-ideas post? Or maybe he just had a thing for the Desert theme….
I haven't really had a chance to get thinking on this subject, but here's some stuff floating around in my head (that I'm not interested in developing farther myself);
There totally needs to be a Hellknight Magus archetype, that wears heavier armor and has a smaller and more focused spell list.
Infernal Alchemy Discoveries? Such as an Infernal Mutagen that adds the advantages of the Fiendish simple template to the user, when he goes all Mr. Hyde? Hellfire bombs, half fire damage and half unholy divine power?
Cheliax themed Bardic Masterpieces, including, of course, operatic performances?
Themed spellbooks with preparation rituals, a la Ultimate Magic, probably focused on infernal conjuring, but perhaps also divination, abjuration, etc.
An Infernal Ascension feat progression by which a normal human (or whatever) can expose themselves to infernal influence and eventually gain the Fiendish Simple Template applied to themselves. (Starting with X rounds per day, building up to a full time transformation.)
Infernal Theurgy, a means by which a wizard can devote himself body and soul to Asmodeus, and replace his Wizard School spells and abilities with Domain spells and abilities, as if a Cleric.
The Order of the Burning Pentacle, a coven of Witches whose Pact is with the Supreme Devil of Magic, Asmodeus himself, and who have the Prince of Lies as their Patron, a preference for goat familiars, and series of hell and devil and Asmodean-themed hexes (such as Binding Contract and Fires of the Thrice-Damned and Taint of Evil).

I am working on it now. But am realizing I may have to condense up a bit due to the new 3 submission rule. Oh snap. :D
But I think (and hope) that the judges will like the angle I took this time around. It's something most players forget about Cheliax and it's illustriously ambitious history. But only time will tell.

Please tell me the "Submissions used to defame, harass, or threaten board members are not tolerated" guideline is not inspired by a previous submission.
I don't know if this counts as 'defame, harass, or threaten', but some of the Dungeon freelancers would tease each other with thinly-veiled NPC caricatures.
Knowing some of the guilty parties, I think they all took it in fun, but it got knocked on the head after one 'deviant' or 'mutant' too many.

While the prospect of closer working with the rest of the posters is great, I have to repeat the earlier query; has the PF Chronicler team gone dormant?
They vetted the fiction entries for previous years, so do these submissions no longer have to go through them?

I like the idea of a guy leaping around, carving pentagrams on his foes, in the name of Asmodeus, but should it be best as a prestige class?
Archetypes are for character concepts you can play as out of the gate at level 1, whereas the Hellknights are an organisation that recruits existing antiheroes with proven badassery.

Our last issue (#10) really didn't get anything through PF Chroniclers. I think one article came through them, and it wasn't thoroughly vetted by that group. I'm not sure what happened, but some of the writers that I get fiction pieces from on a regular basis weren't working within that group this time, either.
I certainly welcome and strongly encourage anyone to join up with the PF Chroniclers and work within that community, or any other writers' group, to hone and polish your fiction pieces. The process really can help your stories shine, and I cannot tell you how nice it is as a Wayfinder editor to receive a fiction piece that needs very little editing! WE. LOVE. THAT.
I won't speculate as to is happening over at PF Chroniclers, but if the PFC work on producing some articles for #11, then we will definitely consider them. However, from the number of non-PFC fiction pieces we got for #10 showed us that there are lots of fiction writers out there that we have been potentially missing out on.
And with the recent ENnie win potentially bringing more readers AND writers to Wayfinder, I felt that we have grown enough as a fan project to open the doors "a little wider" now.

How can I get involved with the Chroniclers?

How can I get involved with the Chroniclers?
THIS is the web address I have saved at work, but it's loading funny, allegedly because work uses an outdated version of Internet Explorer (eyeroll).
I can still view the contact details, though I don't know if they're up to date:
Theodore V. Thompson
117 Elm Street
Elko, NV 89801
zuxius@pathfinderchronicler.net
Or you could try a personal message through this site to Zuxius?

Check out the chronicler forums:

This would be where all the peer editing would take place.

I might not be able to squeeze an article into this one! My three ideas are currently running at 1494 words, 1691 words and 2202 words.
I'm pretty darn verbose, and can usually find some fat to trim, but that's a whole lotta fat...
Don't give up, Set!
I've found that via self-editing I can usually cut down at least 10% of my original word count on the first pass. You can easily meet the 1500-word limit on the first two you've mentioned. And if you look hard for efficiencies and are willing to make some tough choices, you might even be able to chop down the third one, too. :)
That advice goes for everyone, actually. Self-editing is a really valuable skill for a writer in any field, but especially in rules design and development. Pathfinder rules use specific wording to describe certain actions, and so you have to find other places where you can cut words while still being clear.
Once you've cut out everything you can, share your work with someone you trust to give you honest feedback and let them look for places where you can cut more. Two or three sets of eyes can also help you suss out the places where others may not get the meaning you intend from your choice of wording.

I really wanted to submit something for #10, but I missed that boat. Let me start thinking about stuff for #11.
Here are some ideas I'd like to throw out as your Friendly Local PathfinderWiki Admin:
*It would be great if someone did something involving the strix. They are just way top flavorful not to. Maybe someone who has read Nightglass? Where did they come from? Why is their language a strange creole of Azlanti and Infernal?
*Perhaps something on the relationship between shadowy Nidal and its erstwhile master, Cheliax? We know they send shadowbeasts to torment the people of Westcrown, but what other contributions do they make? How has Cheliax changed because of Nidal's influence?
*And speaking of Nidal, how do the Chelish feel about Zon-Kuthon? I know everyone is supposed to worship Asmodeus, but we know that other religions are practiced, even if only in private.
*What are the laws surrounding halfling slavery in the nation? How do the halflings feel about it? How does halfling slavery differ from human slavery?
*Then there's always the colony of Anchor's End in Arcadia. Who lives there and what are they up to? What customs have developed there that are different than the ones on the Chelish mainland? What about the journey across the Arcadian Ocean that is required to get there? What stories have been told about the stalwart ships that have made the journey past the sunken ruins of ancient Azlant?

Other random ideas;
Asmodean magic items! Rods that function as branding irons, and allow one to not only mark a slave (or someone else who has annoyed you) but also to cause that brand to flare up and cause them pain later, if they disobey you (or continue to annoy you). Pentacle holy symbols that allow the bearer to spontaneously swap a domain spell, depending on which of the five 'points' he holds. A rod that enhances the abilities of one Domain (or grants them, to a spellcaster who doesn't normally have Domain options, such as a wizard who serves Asmodeus). An amulet that grants the wearer the benefits (and restrictions) of being in a strongly law or evil aligned plane (such as the Hells, as per GMG p 186).
Planar (and lesser and greater) Allies for Asmodean casters, such as Hellfire Elementals, or variant Imps or Hellhounds.
*Everybody* expects the Chelish Inquisition! An overview of this feared arm of the Hellknights, with some of the tools and tactics (equipment, feats, judgments, teamwork feats, spells, etc.) of these merciless and vigilant Inquisitors.
Mechanical options for the Ergorian Fiend-Binders, a group of Summoners who have Evolutions that (incrementally) add the Devil subtype (and the various advantages and disadvantages thereof) to their Eidolons, as well as the lesser adepts of their order, who are conjuration specialist wizards who give up Arcane Bond for a half-strength fiendish template companion animal (often a dog or wolf or cat or eagle, but sometimes a goat, using the animal companion rules as a druid of half their wizard level) or 'separatist' clerics who replace one of their domains with Animal, to similarly take advantage of an Animal Companion.

In my home campaign, I've done a lot of expansion on Coretyn and its mayor, the Archheathen Kettermaul Charthagnion, so I think I may submit a Side Trek or piece of fiction dealing with him and his conspicuously ever-present Ice Devil "advisor." Also expect a Golarion Gazetteer on Brastlewark, for a little bit of uncharacteristic whimsy.
