They've always been my favourite form of caster.

The closest you get now is the Primalist Wizard Archetype.

I've yet to find a group willing to let me run one.

The Inner Sea Magic supplement has rules for Primal Magic, the Pathfinder equivalent of Wild Magic. There are also Primalist mages, equivalent to Wild Mages.
