My half-elf magus is looking for the last member of his family, his elven father who he never knew, his only clues a black blade and a name.
Obviously he doesn't have to worship a god but I think it would be cool for character purposes.
Any ideas? :)
What is your character's alignment?
Well, Erastil is the god of family. That could work.

I think there was one somewhere, but I can't find him.
Thanks for the Erastil suggestion!
I'm Chaotic Good.
God of Lost Things? Norgorber ;-)
Make one up! Problem solved.
Also, underwear gnomes.

This guy wins. Thanks!
Jing from the Grande Temple of things could be that. Too.
Khasmenos, a forgotten god of searchers and the lost. It's nice to know even deities can be overlooked.

It sounds like the purview of one of The Eldest from the First World.
Ashava watches over those who are lost (usually the dead but also the living).

Seriously, though, I'd agree that a god of Lost Things would probably be a perfect portfolio for a First World creature.
Abadar.
There's a reason he keeps a copy of EVERYTHING in his vault.
It has to do with a series of misplaced keyrings.

I actually really like this idea, but the alignments would be completely at odds. His human step-father was a tyrannical daimyō so my character is very against authority.
Desna is CG and watches over travelers. If you look at it as a journey, I'd think she'd work. I think she has an entry in one of the Dragon Empires books, so she does have some level of sway there.
