I apologize if this is in the wrong place.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a class, in the entirety of the d20 OGL, that lets you develop powers as a result of being possed by a fiend or some sort of spirit.
A friend of mine asked me and, while I told him to checkout the Atavist class and the Magic of Incarnum book, I couldn't really think of anything like that. Still it sounds like something that someone would have come up with before.
If I missed something in the Pathfinder compatible stuff please point it out to me but I honestly can't think of any class that does this.

I would completely take away the SLA summon monster, and replace it with an ascending bonus to DC of spells the summoner casts. Also, the spells cannot be cast while the parasite (eidolon) is in control. Also, it only takes a move action for parasite to take control while it takes a full round action to wrest control from it. Using the lycanthrope rules I mentioned above.

While I don't know about one for pathfinder, the 3.5 Binder had a strong "willing possession" vibe, one could also use a sorcerer bloodline as a possessor, nothing in the rules says the bloodline has to actually have been from whatever source making love to an ancestor of yours (because, let's face it, I do not want to think about some of those possibilities)

He did indeed mention using a straight sorceror as an option though adding a possession mechanic like Titania proposed is very intriguing to me. It would allow both willingly possessed and unwilling to take the class. The unwilling would resist but still take advantage of the powers. A slippery slope indeed but a fantastic roleplaying opportunity. The willing might regret their choice later on as well.

3.5's 'Complete Arcane' had the 'Acolyte of the Skin' PrC which gained powers by having a fiend of some sort bound into/replacing your own skin. As close to a possession class as I can find. Probably not what your looking for exactly but it may be worth a look.
Also IIRC 'The Book of Vile Deeds' had rules on evil possession in them as well, but no class/PrC that I recall off hand.

Malevolence (Su)
The ghost's jealousy of the living is particularly potent. Once per round, the ghost can merge its body with a creature on the Material Plane. This ability is similar to a magic jar spell (caster level 10th or the ghost's Hit Dice, whichever is higher), except that it does not require a receptacle. To use this ability, the ghost must be adjacent to the target. The target can resist the attack with a successful Will save. A creature that successfully saves is immune to that same ghost's malevolence for 24 hours.
Ghost is a template that can be added to a race that allows possession of other creatures.
“Demon-possessed creature” is an acquired template that can be added to any living, corporeal creature that falls prey to demon possession
Once again, another template added to a race.
A vilkacis is a spirit of savagery and can take control of other beings, afflicting them with its savage nature. Once per round, the vilkacis can merge its body with a creature on the Material Plane. This ability is similar to a magic jar spell
Vilkacis possesses creatures very similar to the Ghost, except for a lesser duration.

Literally, any of them.
That's primarily a flavor consideration; you can say that any character is possessed by a thing, and you're drawing on its skills.
Pretty much this. Its fun to reflavor things. I once went through and made a demonic possession flavor for everyone of the core classes in 3.5, actually got to use one later too!
More specifically within OGL, you may want to look at the occultist. Its an interesting class, and its 3.5 cousin is the binder.

Ok, here it is, I worked on it sooner than I thought. I used the Synthesist as the base for the build, but I toned down the crazy min-max ability scores for it. This Arch-type requires a descent stat in a lot of the ability scores. However, the role play here can be lots of fun. You can still have a very powerful class. But there are now some serious drawbacks as well. Tell me if this works for you.

Your absolutely welcome! I changed the link to include an update that allows for a level 20 ability. I forgot to put in the ability that the eidolon can assume its old hosts form as well. Also, the eidolon would work to achieve the death of its former host as well.
My muse for the Possessed Summoner was Demon Coins in the Dresden Files book series by Jim Butcher.
